DAY 1Destination: Johannesburg – Soweto……………………………………………………………………………Welcome to beautiful South Africa!On your arrival at OR Tambo Airport you will be metby your English speaking local guide.Your tour starts off with a visit to the South WesternTownships, known as SoWeTo.After your first impression of this pulsating city youdepart for your hotel situated in Muldersdrift on theoutskirts of Johannesburg. DAY 2Destination: Johannesburg – Hazyview or Whiteriver……………………………………………………………………………After an early breakfast you depart for the province ofMpumalanga. You travel along one of the mostscenic routes – the Panorama Route on your way toyour next accommodation close to theKruger National Park.
DAY 3Destination: Johannesburg – Hazyview or Whiteriver……………………………………………………………………………The day is spent Game viewing in the Park by coachin anticipation of spotting the Big FiveAs an Optional you are able to experience GameViewing in Open Safari vehicles. DAY 6Destination: Cape Town……………………………………………………………………………Today you are able to get to know the city by bookingan Optional City Tour ExcursionCape Town City TourThe centrally located Company’s Gardens wereestablished by the Dutch East India Company in the17th century to grow fruit and vegetables to supplyits fleet, and to trade with the visiting Mariners. Herea variety of trees, shrubs and flowers are grownaround the historical buildings, including the SouthAfrican Parliament and the State President’s guesthouse, the “Tuinhuis”.The Bo-Kaap, formerly known as the Cape MalayQuarter, is situated on the slopes of Signal Hill.Founded in the 18th century it is characterised bymosques, brightly painted Georgian terrace housesand narrow cobbled streets. Most of the inhabitantsare descendants of slaves from the East. The Bo KaapMuseum tells of the area’s history and Muslimheritage.A visit of Table Mountain is the highlight of any tour.However, this is weather permitting and the ticket isnot inclusive.A rotating cable car only takes a few minutes to reachthe summit of the 1086 metre high mountain,one of the best-known landmarks of South Africa. Thecircular walk around Table Mountain’s summitrewards visitors with breathtaking views of CapeTown and the surrounds.Alternatively you spend the day at your own leisure.
DAY 7Destination: Cape Town……………………………………………………………………………Today you have the opportunity to enjoy the CapePeninsula by booking an Optional Tour to CapePointThe route follows the Atlantic Seaboard to the fishingharbour of Hout Bay for an approximately 1 hourstop allowing for an optional boat ride to view theseals on Duiker Island or just enjoying a short walk.The picturesque route takes you over the scenicChapman’s Peak Drive to the entrance of the Capeof Good Hope Nature Reserve.The next stop is Boulder’s Beach, where a colony ofAfrican Penguins settled in the early 1980’s. Thejourney continues through Simonstown where theSouth African Naval Headquarters are located.A final stop before ending this day is a visit toKirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, one ofthe most beautiful indigenous gardens in South Africa,nestled against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’sTable Mountain. Alternatively there is an option tovisit Groot Constantia.OR you spend the day at your own leisure. DAY 8Destination: Departure……………………………………………………………………………Today you bid farewell to our beautiful country andtransfer to the airport for departure .
