I am Janice Park, and I am a freshman studying Computer Animation. It’s crazy that I can remember my childhood vividly whenever I see Dum Dum lollipops or Skittles. As a 19-year-old human, I honestly don’t enjoy sweets anymore, but I often find myself going back to a piece of candy whenever I feel nostalgic. As time passes, I experience more often bitter and sour situations, but it’s those sweet memories of my childhood that make me realize that there are sweet experiences to come. Thank you for this opportunity to share my piece! Instagram: @pwark.jpeg Jordan George Business of Art and Design ‘23 Youtube: JG2 Spotify: Jordan George Website: jordangeorge.weebly.com 55

I’m Marie Biernacki, an Illustration junior at Ringling College of Art and Design. I often draw inspiration from music, poetry, and emotions. My ultimate goal is to emotionally impact my audience with my illustrations — you can find my works here on Instagram or on my portfolio website! Syd Ritsema Illustration ‘23 Hey guys! I’m Syd, a non-binary artist from middle of nowhere Illinois! Literally there are just corn and bean fields around me,,, and a Bunch of churches. I guess that’s why it was so hard for me to be myself in a true sense. Small towns are hard, everyone knows you, it feels like you are constantly under a microscope. So when I think about my childhood, I think about a lot of those restrictions. The thing that got me through a lot of turmoil was art, through sports and school and my town, turning to my crayons and printer paper was how I coped. Anyways, that’s a bit about me and my piece, I’ve got a lot of other cool stuff on my instagram and my website. Tse Jen Vivian Tan Game Art ‘24 Vivian Tan would be a sophomore in Computer Animation, but instead she took a gap year AND transferred major so now she watches JDramas to fill in spare time that would otherwise be spent playing with her cats, gaming, or feeling very lost. She holds a (self-proclaimed) record of being a 99% introvert on the online Myers Briggs test and has yet to break it. As such, she is more-than-a-bit shy but if you are interested in non-food related art rest assured there is plenty of inconsistency on her instagram. She hopes you had a good day today! :) Instagram: @itsantlerhead Wren Sullivan Visual Studies ‘23 Hello! I’m Wren. I’m a Visual Studies sophomore. I love digital art like drawing and sculpting. I draw my inspiration from everywhere to make exciting characters and scenes. Instagram: @rosebirdd Twitter: @rosebirdds Website: wrenskye.com 58
