HEALTHY LIFESTYLE BEYOUR PRIORITY • Give prime importance to your health. • Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. • Drink a lot of liquid like water and other natural sources of water like tender coconut water, lime water, Buttermilk etc. • Pledge for “Eat Right -Less Sugar, Less Oil and Less Salt.” • Observe no screen hour daily from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. • Do exercise and get into yoga. • Wash hands frequently, especially before and after meal. • Avoid sharing of towel, handkerchief, brush with others. • Trim of nails and hair regularly.

GOOD MANNERS -BE A WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING: Keep in mind to follow a schedule during holidays. • Pray to almighty daily and thank for the blissful life that you enjoy. • Be a good time manager and follow a routine. • Do the homework independently, only ask for assistance from your parents or guardians. • Be a helping hand to your parents and learn the skill of shared responsibility. Example Keep the home clean and mess free and After eating, keep the plate in your kitchen and help mummy in house- hold chores. • Remember to have a wide mouth container filled with water or hang bird feeder outside your house for the birds to get respite from the scorching heat.

Language Skills: The four major skills of language learning, listening, speaking, Listening: reading and writing provide the right key to success. • Activity 1: Story time! Listen to moral stories every week and record your story reflection and upload the video on Flip grid- Language skills. • Activity 2: Rhyme Time! Listen to the Jolly phonic songs and sing along. Refer to the Music songs uploaded on the LMS-Music. • Speaking: • Activity 1: Read age appropriate picture books and try to retell the story using complete sentences, spot any new words and learn it's meaning.. Take snaps while reading pictures and add audio reflecting the story. Create a Padlet page -language skills and upload all language skill reflections on the same page. • Activity 2: JAM(Just a minute)Talk about your pet. - Upload one-minute video on Flip grid – language skills.

Reading: • Activity 1: Choose any letter for the day e.g. Letter Ss. Start your day by giving your child breakfast like strawberry, sandwich, help him play with soft toys and relate the sound of the letter to objects at home. • End of the day let him/her count the total words by recalling them. • Appreciate their effort. • Draw objects/pictures related to the letter and upload on the Padlet page- Language skills. • Activity 2: Guide them to spot and read words from set 1 using phonic sound from the magazine or newspaper cutouts.-Share pictures through Padlet page-Language skills.

Math- Art Integration Activities •Activity 1: Colour wheel Activity 2:Guide children to draw for kids-Cool clock different types of lines on their Cut a circle from A4 size papers using oil pastels. Do this by paper, colour it and saying out loud the type of line write numbers from 1-12.​ and the direction to draw the line. Please note: When each line is complete, ask Practice writing numbers 1- the children to switch to a new 12 in your white board color to get ready for the next then copy the same on line. the colour wheel clock Once the lines have been drawn, neatly. Suggestion for Parents: • Spend quality time with your children. • Keep a study timetable and follow it every day. • Guide your ward to practice writing his/her name every day. • Allow them to help you in house-hold chores. • Guide them and make them independent in doing their work. • Let them explore their interest and encourage them for the same. • Keep encouraging them for every little achievement that will help them and keeps them motivated. • Ensure you observe a non-screen day twice a month to have quality time doing different activities. • Reduce the screen time by balancing it with different activities. • Stay home stay safe.
