About Yuva Darpan Rotaract Club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan was chartered on 25th August 2020 with a motive to aspire to inspire. On 31st October 2020, Rtr.Preeti Mannikeri was installed as charter president and Rtr.Arpita Ninganure as charter secretary along with their office bearers for RCBYD. As the Yuva Darpan name suggests, it simply means YOUTH IS THE MIRROR OF SOCIETY. Our motive is to positively influence a youth into action and make a small change. Currently the club is headed by Rtr.Prathamesh Joshi and Rtr.Namita Rajaput as president and secretary respectively along with their Office bearers for the year 2022-23. The theme for the year is “NISHTA – Dedication for Community” which implies our depth of commitment, our quality of service, the product of our devotion because in the end all these things are what counts in our life.

We started our club with 20 members and currently we have a strength of 55 members filled with enthusiasm and determination. Rotaract Club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan makes sure that all the members of the club are given equal opportunity and are acknowledged. RCBYD provides a platform and considers every member’s interest in each avenue. As the saying goes” With Great Power comes great responsibilities”, Yuva Darpan has never backed out from any responsibility and will continue to take more responsibility and have a successful year ahead. Once a Darpanite always a Darpanite!

Current Theme We the Rotaract club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan have chosen our theme as “निष्ठा” for the year 2022-23. Our main motto is to serve towards the community. It simply means to positively influence an individual into action. We youths want to be the example for the others so that it motivates everyone to do atleast something good in everyday life.

DRR's Message Namaskar Rotaractors! Warm Rotaract Greetings to everyone! Time just flies and we are half way through this RI Year. A lot of our dreams are already conquered and a lot is yet to be conquered. Now is the time we shift to higher gears and just throttle our way forward. Rotaract Club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan this year has seen an amazing perfomance this year, be it the quality projects, or the participation in zonal/district projects. You have ensured your presence is significantly noted. Me being the part of this club since it's charter process as the ZRR, I am thoroughly overwhelmed and equally proud to see the journey and all its progress so far. This year in specific has been one of the best years and under the dynamic leadership of the president Rtr. Prathamesh Joshi. The growth in club's membership says it all. His vision and dedication for the club definitely has the potential to take it to greater heights. But as I spoke in your club Orientation, running a club is not a 'one man's show'. It's you the members who have to make the dream happen. A good leader is no good without a good team that being said it's every individual members responsibility to ensure that the club keeps thriving. Come up with projects that solve the real time problems of the society and not by the conventional way but an innovative way. Youth is the future of our country. Come up with ideas to inform, educate & empower them. Not everyone is as privileged as we are so reach out to the marginalised sector and ensure they get equal opportunities. In the end, it's not the quantity but the quality of projects that counts. The impact that you made counts. Last six months have been amazing, and we can't slow down here . The next six have to be equally amazing or even more for that matter. Consistency is the key. Wishing you all the best of wishes to dream more and to dream bigger. Best Projects Why Rotaract? “Why Rotaract?” was the first professional event organized on 3rd July 2022 led by our Event Chair Rtr. Arpita Ninganure. It was an orientation session to enlighten the non-rotaractors on the importance of Rotaract and why they should join our Club Yuva Darpan. The speaker for our event was none other than DRR. Aniket Jadhav.

Best Projects Green Talks On 8th September, RCBYD organised an informative session called \"Green Talks\" \"Whether the lack of infrastructure is harming our environment or the more of it is? \" Rightly quoted by our guest speaker Mr. Sameer Majli, founder of \"Green Saviours \". It was an amazing, intriguing and interactive session enlightening us with the reality of environment, importance of trees, realizing our roles to join hands for a better tomorrow.

Best Projects Grandparents’ Day : Celebrating Second Childhood On 12th of September, we visited ShantaiVrudhashram to spend the Grandparents’ Day with all the people over there. Celebrating second childhood has been an occasion that we all will carry in our memories for a long-time. We had spent almost a day with them, had breakfast and lunch together, conducted fun activities and also shared the experiences with each other. It made our time and their time a little kinder and a little more warmer. This event brought extreme joy to everyone present that day.

Best Projects Charter’s Day As of 25thAugust , our Charter’s Day, We YuvaDarpanites had been to a farmhouse at the Kanade Farms, to celebrate this day. The day began with a beautiful journey from Belgaum to Khanapur. At the destination we enjoyed by spending the entire day with each other which included games and fun activities. At evening ,we also celebrated the birthdays of Rotaractors that occurred in the month of August.

Best Projects Third Installation Rotaract Club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan carried out its Third Installation on 13th August 2022 at Native Chancery Hotel, Belgaum. Rtr. Prathamesh Joshi was Installed as president and Rtr. Namita Rajaput as Secretary along with their Board of Directors at the hands of Installing Officer DRR Rtr. Aniket Jadhav for the year 2022-23.The presence of Rotarians from our parent club, IPP ZRR Nikhil Chindak, DRO members and also the president and secretaries of other clubs from Belgaum zone graced this event. RCBYD also revealed their theme for the year 2022-23 whichis निष्ठां : Dedication for community. It was a great start to this wonderful year.

Best Projects Raksha Bandhan Celebration On the auspicious day, of Raksha Bandhan dated on 11th August we celebrated it by tying Rakhi to the heroes who serve our nation selflessly. These included the police officers and fire officers across different stations in Belgaum i.e. the Camp Police Station,Shahpur Police station, Tilakwadi Police Station and Fire Station. We were warmly welcomed by them, we interacted and bonded with them as well. The overall experience was overwhelming.

Best Projects Pawtography 2.0 Our flagship event Pawtograhy was conducted on 26th August, which is an online event where participants send pictures of their dog pets. This year too, the event turned out to be a success with Rtr.Mrunal as the Event Head

Best Projects National Sports Day Talk 29th August is celebrated as the National Sports Day. Sport could be an important part of any human’s life. Our very own ZRR. Nikhil Chindak shared his journey in Sports and how it has changed his life by enlightening us with the importance of sports. The session was followed an interesting Quiz based on to brush our facts on Sports. We had 40 participants showing up for this event.

Best Projects Plantation Drives

Best Projects Plantation Drives Rotaract Club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan over 6 months has successfully completed 17 plantation drives which involves planting of trees, saplings, maintenance, cleaning mulching and digging up plots etc in collaboration with Green Savior's association who carrys out plantation drives every Sunday.

Best Projects Shravan Bhojan Our Parent Club Rotary Club of Belgaum Darpan organised Shravan Bhojan on 24th August at Gandhi Bhavan. RCBYD Board of Directors attended the Shravan Bhojan. All the Rotarians welcomed us warmly and were delighted with our presence. All of us enjoyed the Great meal.

Best Projects Wildlife in Karnataka Rotaract Club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan had a joint event with Rotaract Club of Mangalore city RID 3181 on 27th September. The topic of the session was “Wildlife in Karnataka” by the speaker Mr. Bidappa M A. DG Rtn. Devdas Rai Sir of RID 3181 was also present for the session. Overall,it was very informative, unique, interactive and a fruitful session. This session focused on the theme of the September Month i.e. “Basic education and Literacy”

Best Projects Ganesh Chaturthi with team Yuva Darpan On 2nd of September, we Celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi by attending the Ganesh Aarti at Rtr. Arpita's house. We attended the pooja, took blessings from Lord Ganesha and had a small interaction with members followed by snacks. It enhanced the bondings among the members.

Best Projects A Fun trip on World Tourism Day On the World Tourism Day i.e. 27th September, we YuvaDarpanites went on Trek to Pargad Fort, which is situated to the south of Kolhapur in Maharashtra. One of the major attractions of this fort is its serene environment and lush green surroundings. Next, we had been to Baba Falls, the main beauty of this waterfall is the cave behind the falls. Our members enthusiastically participated in both the treks.

Best Projects Ekdanta Chitrakala 2.0 Our flagship event EkdantaChitrakala 2.0 was conducted on 3rd September 2022. It’s one fund raiser organised by us where the participants send the sketches/painting of Lord Ganesha and we gift the winners with unique and useful prizes.

Best Projects Teacher’s Day Celebration Following the quote \" The unselfish effort to cheer others is the beginning of a happier society\" , On the occasion of \"Teachers' Day\" we visited \"Maheshwari blind school\" .It was a visit filled with fun, laughter and service. We had amazing interaction where we explained the children, the concept of Rotaract and Interact. Along with this, we served food, and had friendly conversation with the teaching and non- teaching staff looking after the kids. The Teachers were felicitated on this occasion.

Best Projects Cleanliness Drive On the occasion of our Prime Minister's Birthday i.e. 17th September ,we participated in the government program called Indian Swatchatha league. It was a Cleanliness Awareness Rally followed by Cleanliness Drive at vaccine depot with 1300 members enthusiastically participating in this drive. It was amazing to have a part of such a huge project.

Best Projects Dandiya Raas Dandiya Raas, one of the much awaited event of the year was a 5 day Garba/Dandiya event. Our club was recognised as a supporting club for this event. We participated in organising as well as attending the events for all the five days. It proved to be a Mega event for the Belgaum in entirety

Best Projects Dandiya Raas Reel Challenge This competition was held during the same period as the Dandiya Raas Event. It was open for all citizens with all the age groups, where they had to dress up and show their moves in the form of a reel. It was in the collaboration with Rotaract Club of Belgaum South.

Best Projects Fun Outing with Rotaract Club of Jyotinivas It’s the first event of RCBYD where we had been for outing with a Rotaract Club belonging to a different RID. We had a Joint event which included a Fun outing at the White room cafe. Here, we had lunch and discussed about future Joint Events. This was followed by a jamming session to the end of the event.

Best Projects Dustbin Installation On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, We Rotaract club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan in collaboration with our parent clubi.e. Rotary club of Belgaum Darpan and installed 13 Dustbins at ShreenagarApartments,Belagavi. The motive of this event was to create an awareness of Swach Bharat Abhiyan. We were accompanied by DG Rtn. Venkatesh Deshpande and AG Rtn. Rahul Sathe the chiefguests of this event.

Best Projects Diwali Celebration with Shantai Vridhashram Celebrating Diwali with our favourite Grandparents at ShantaiVridhashram was indeed an overwhelming experience as Rotaractors and moreover as children. We YuvaDarpanites couldn’t have imagined of any other best way to celebrate the festival of lights. We could observe the happiness in their faces which brought true light to the event

Best Projects Quotes series Unique yet an interesting event organised by us during the month of November. Here, each member had to send us inspirational quotes daily.This ensure interactivity among club members on social media platforms and also helped our members to start their on a positive note.

Best Projects World Interact Day Celebration

Best Projects We, along with our Parent Club, Rotary Club of Belgaum Darpan celebrated, World Interact Day, with Interact Club of Belgaum Little Champs. It was an exciting and amazing day where we spent the entire day with them which included activities like Spelling Bee Competition, cleanliness, Meditation, Best Student Felicitation. We were also accompanied by Shantai Vridhashram members.

Best Projects Kambali 3.0 Kambali 3.0 is a blanket donation drive which is a flagship event of RCBYD. This event has been a part of our rota year since we were chartered. This year on 17th and 18th December, a total of 356 blankets were donated to the needy and the destitute. The places in Belagavi where the blanket donation was done were: 1)Anmol Dham 2)Sundar Nagar, Peeranwadi 3)YatriNivas, Mandoli road 4)Opposite Fort Lake 5)Ganeshpur, Slum area 6)Vantmuri Slum area

Best Projects Santa Soiree We love the tradition of gifting for Christmas . So our club hosted a great event called \"Santa Soirée \", a secret santa evening for the club members on 23/12/2022 at The Hidden Door cafe. We had great food, music , games and most importantly gifts from our secret santa’s.It was an amazing Kickstarter for the holiday weekend. Infact, it’s the among those events where most of our club members participated

Awards and Recognition Epistle Epistle 3170 was a District International project initiated by Dist. International Service Director Rtr.Chaitanya Nilkanthanawar on friendship’s day. The main aim of this project was to connect with other district rotaractors by just not wishing through social media but by sending actual post car from our district. Rotaract club of Belgaum Yuva Darpan sent a total of 31 post cards to 10 different districts which included RID 3170,3141,3190,3240,3141,3201,3131,3011,3181 & 3012. All our hard work was appreciated when we were listed in the top performers list in the Community Based club category. Kambali 3.0
