t is with great joy that I write my editorial this Editorial 5 month, as etc&tal magazine completes 12 By Isa Melo - Editor-in-Chief Iyears of circulation. Looking back on how it all started, I stopped working for other media and with the encouragement of friends and family, etc&tal was born. A beautiful labour of love and collaboration, this magazine, continues to offer excellent articles, trending events in Toronto, and is reaching more and more people across the GTA and beyond. Along with the many challenges and learning opportunities there have been significant achievements including nine awards, which serves as a great stimulus for us to grow and stand out even more. In our 12th year, we have experienced our biggest and most exciting change, etc&tal moved from print to digital. It is a renewed and more modern magazine, in addition to collaborating with the environment. You can enjoy this edition while continuing to social distance during this unprecedented time when everyone wants to go out and enjoy the short, hot season. We bring news about Coronavirus, the Residential Legislation during COVID-19 in Canada. In the fashion section, we highlight this summer’s hat, we’ve brought back our column on pets, and have included delicious recipes from previous years. A iniciativa é uma colaboração entre o Programa das Nações Unidas para o Desenvolvimento (PNUD), a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), o Programa Conjunto das Nações Unidas para o HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) e o Instituto O’Neill de Direito Nacional e Global da Saúde da Universidade de Georgetown. Segundo as organizações envolvidas na iniciativa, o Covid-19 obrigou países a tomarem medidas legislativas urgentes para controlar e reduzir os incidentes da pandemia, portanto, a plataforma funciona como um banco de dados de leis que os países implementaram para gerenciar a pandemia.
