2Onboarding: the practice of organizational socialization. Leadership Onboarding:: the practice of helping new employees acquire the necessaryknowledge, skills, and behaviors to become effective organizational leaders.Program OverviewNH welcomes new leaders into the organization and new roles by engaging new leaders in a self-directed, holistic learning program designed to fosterindependence and accelerate performance. Through various strategies, new leaders are exposed to both operational and developmental streams overa 12 month period. The onboarding program is anchored to our strategic plan and begins connecting the leader to the organization vision and strategicplan. Niagara Health is undergoing cultural shifts in how we think, how we work, and most importantly how we act.
