A Light Unto My Path Psa. 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. In the days we live it can seem as though uncertainty of direction is more prevalentthan the path of certainty. This is especially true when the media is the foundation of ourthinking rather than the word of God. It is time for Christian faith to rise for stability andcertainty of the future. Faith is not a move of God but a lifestyle of Gods word read believedand acted upon. Where there is a deficiency of Gods word fear will always fill the gap. Thereason this is true is because the world has been subjected to the spirit of death anduncertainty. The only stable secure life in existence is the life of God. It is the word of God that is forever settled and stable all else is as shifting sandunreliable and ever changing. Psa. 119:89 LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. Believing in Gods word should be the easiest act we as Christians can do. Our trainingand discipleship should always include this aspect of faith and training. The reason we canaccept this fact is because Jesus himself is the word. When we rely on Gods word we arerelying on Jesus himself. So if the word is a lamp that shines then it is Jesus himself thatshines upon our life and its direction. One of the greatest attacks I have seen in this day and observed with its ever growingassault is the breakdown of relationship and trust in society. It is no wonder that marriages arefailing at an all time high and the family unit is in division and opposition to one another.People have grown weak in their word and commitment. There is no longer a trust in the handshake or vow to one another due to the weakness and fulfillment of committed words.Perhaps the greatest effect of this is the mistrust it has placed on Gods word and all that iswritten within it. When we begin to doubt the words of people who have been proven to lie,cheat or mislead there is a subconscious response toward all conversation that is givenjudging it with uncertainty until proven. We as Christians must guard against unbelief anddoubt that is offered through man kinds failure with truth. We are to be discerning but notfearful. A high value or confidence must be placed on the truth of God and what is written.Satan through people who are weak or lost uses the opportunity of failed words to weaken ourfaith and reliance in God to fulfill his word. But God is not a man that he should lie!

The greatest way to keep trust is to have relationship and conversation with God. Thereis a reason you seem too busy to accomplish having a consistent lifestyle of time separatedwith God and it is this [Satanic Strategy]! I know you think there is another preacher sayingeverything I do is satanic. NO! I am stating that the schemes of our adversary include thissnare for man kind. He knows full well that our time in Gods presence clarifies life and truth.Satan's ability to deceive, weaken and destroy must be done through obscured vision. Thismeans that it must have darkness or illusion will not work. Gods presence brings light andextinguishes that darkness. John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: hethat followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Jesus and the word are one if we abide in the word we abide in the light. If we abide inGods presence we abide in the light. This brings us to the startling revelation that we must liveby the word and spirit if we are going to walk in the light. I realize that not everyone can justall of a sudden stop the momentum of their lifestyle and jump into God word and presence.There are however steps that will begin to realign a Christian to Gods light. They are relativelyeasy to begin implementing. 1. Start reading the Bible each day even if it is a small amount of time. Set aside atleast 15 min. Where your mind is settled and focused. 2. Start praying every day and not while you are driving or doing other things. That isokay but we must have a time where our entire attention is on prayer. Give it 15 min. Whereyou just stop and say God you are more important than everything else in my life. 3. Attend church regular. I know sometimes things come up and you cant make it oryou may have a job that requires you are traveling or working. I am talking here to people whohave the ability and chose not to attend for what they think is more important. Getting in the light of life is a realignment of priorities. When a person turns on aflashlight it is because they make a decision based on their need to see or have clarity. Theyfind the light and then do what is necessary for it to shine. So make a decision today to light upyour path of blessing, health, joy and faith through turning on the light through relationshipwith God and his word.
