Christianity Where failure ends and success begins! Now that we have determined the foundation to success and destroyed the excuse of ourfoundations of where we come from or who we are we have to know how to walk in this freedomthat God has given us or placed us into. In the title of this chapter I have placed to significant words(Ends & Begins). These words are very significant to the outcome and journey of our faith and life.The word (Ends) is used much like book ends in the sense that its role is both at the beginning andthe end of our success. The beginning is where we see the end of the old life its failures or ways andat the other end we see the desired vision of outcome or goal.Pro 29:18Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. If you have been around any type of teaching for faith or success you have most likelybecome familiar with this verse. The reason is that success or accomplishment must be seen from thebeginning not stumbled into and discovered. The principal behind this truth is found in thedescription of Gods ways and actions.Isa 46:10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying,My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: This is vital to the outcome of any belief and faith that will be attempted. The reason isbecause of the seed principal that God has placed within the earth to produce the fruit or outcome ofour goal. You see a seed is required of like kind or I could say the seed of the vision. This brings usto excuse number two [I don’t know how]. This has most likely prevented more people fromachieving their desires, ministries or advancements in life than any other excuse or at the least iswithin the top of the list. The reason is that it is many times kept hidden in the mind and avoided bythe individuals public acknowledgement. No one likes to admit they don’t know how to accomplishthings. And sadly most people are hanging around others that don’t know either. Jesus called thisthe blind leading the blind.Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shallfall into the ditch. This is why teaching from the church is so important to the believer. You can have all ofGods power and resources at your disposal and fail to achieve anything if there is no understandinghow to apply it.Luk 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it wastrodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.Luk 8:11 ¶ Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

We can see here in the account given through Luke that the sower had a seed and that the seed isthe word of God. Seeds are very interesting in the light of what can be produced from a single seed.When I think of an apple seed or any type of fruit seed it is amazing that from one single seed thousandsof ripe fruit can come forth over the years of its life span. So I could say that within a small tiny seed isthe explosive creative power of God to cause life to be given. This tells me that God intends for every seedto be filled with the abundance of life. We see this truth also instilled in our savior who is the foundationof our life.Jhn 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might havelife, and that they might have it more abundantly. We can also see that Jesus is the word or seed truth of God in Johns opening statements of hisGospel.Jhn 1:1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.Jhn 1:14 ¶ And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of theonly begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. So our seed of success is not based upon our abilities, talents or education but upon the life of theseed and its creative power to produce. So now lets talk about the forming of the seed and its innerstrength and ability. Many of Gods children know to confess or speak the word but never place muchthought on the life within the seed. The results many times is a seed of promise with no understanding tothe power of fulfillment. There is a relationship between the seed and the heart of man for the seed togrow and produce. I would like to offer a thought along this line that I believe is worth examination andconsideration. Is the heart of man in a position to become compatible with the life of the seed? We knowfrom this parable that the dangers to the seed were the conditions of mans heart. As I stated earlier Ibelieve the seed has the power to change the heart but have you considered the willingness on your partto allow God to change its condition to one of compatibility. In the revelation or discovery of Godspromise there must be a meditation that acknowledges the need and desire to receive Gods help for thepromise to be fulfilled. It is not enough to just desire the fruit there must be the willingness of obedienceto its health. The seed is not just a thing but a living part of Christ himself coming forth in our life. Justas the apple is a living part of the apple seed. Seeds produce after their own kind. So the “how ofsuccess” is found in the likeness of Christ being formed within us. I could say the roots ofthe seed have been given their place of nourishment within the heart.Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, Our failures end when Christ can be formed within us and our success starts as he produces hisfruits of promise. The fruit of our life will reveal itself as being of good fruit or bad according to Jesus inMatt. 7:17.Mat 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 Agood tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. This means that the condition of the heart will determine what type of fruit is produced. Thoughthe power of good is within the seed of Christ the motive and attitude of life is within us. The seed mustbe allowed to consume the unrighteous attitude and motives that pure and righteous ones may beproduced. I believe that is why our success seems so limited at times. Although the seed of Gods word willproduce abundance the growth is determined by the hearts condition as revealed in the parable.

Luk 8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he hadsaid these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.Luk 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word,keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. Notice here that Luke’s account describes 100 fold where in Marks account listed below it was30,60,100.Mar 4:8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth,some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. How could both of these individuals hear the same message and have two different versions? Ibelieve the answer was in Luke 8:8 at the latter end •Let him who has ears hear•. It was in the hearing ofGod not simply the ability of God. In Marks account the statement seems to be separated from theprevious statement where Luke’s is included with it. I realize there were no chapter and verse in theoriginal writings but it caused me to think about the differences and where the importance may havebeen placed causing the ear to hear a difference in the outcome and possibilities of the words harvest andpotential. So according to the parable that we are looking at how we hear the word will determine thepotential of its success. With this thought in mind we will look at the earlier part of the chapter againconcerning vision. What do you consider a hundred fold success to your vision or desire?*Write it down.What obstacles could prevent the hundred fold from coming to pass in your lifestyle?* Write them down. Do not look at what you think you will struggle to do just write the things you mentally see nocommitment at this point to anything. If you are unclear about the areas of lifestyle the vision is unclearand the objective of the seed and its success is unclear. Take time to pray and ask God to give you avision of the Christian lifestyle associated with your desire. As you see the mannerisms and spirituallifestyle of your desire write it down. Don’t question the difficulty or your ability they are non relevant atthis point of the vision. God is still forming the seed after its kind. This type of prayer needs to be donefor the clarity of what is the 100 fold and the lifestyle.Mat 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. We have to know what we are asking if we are to know what we are believing. Believing is not justfor the end results but for all of the changes and provisions necessary to bring the end results. God spoketo the earth and it produced the garden with its beauty until God said it is good. Good soil or a goodheart comes from the expectation of the spoken words power to transform it into the compatiblesurroundings for the fruitfulness. Your commitment is in the spirit to the seed and prayer. Your labor isto enter a place of rest where the soil grows what was in the seed.Heb 3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?Heb 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

You must now believe what you have seen and discussed with God as an outcome of his word duringprayer. Be expecting it to produce what was placed within it for your supply of strength, faith,commitment, attitude, character etc. Learning to expect the strength of God should be a natural thing forus as Christians it is through his strength that we do all things.Phl 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.1Pe 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of theability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praiseand dominion for ever and ever. Amen. You now know how to receive the seed to sow that will produce after its own kind bringing yourdesired results containing its own power within to transform your life to its fruitfulness. So we havesuccessfully destroyed the excuse of “I don’t know how”. If you are still unclear reread the chapter andthink about it. Exposing TGheoSdtratIegsies Of Satan Before you and I were ever born, Satan had placed a skillfully managed attackagainst our lives. You must realize that Satan is not taking pop shots at you. He has aplanned and managed skillful attack that he has placed against our lives. From the timeyou were born he has been subtly planting the seeds of your destruction in your mind. Ithas been placed through the things our Grandparents, mother and father have said. Theschool systems, media and television, even commercials have placed them in your life.These cleverly managed attacks have been subtly planted in the effort of Satan to bringdestruction to your life . Comments like “we must learn to do without” “You were notborn with a silver spoon,” “heart attacks run in our family” “the men of our families alldie young” “the rich are all snobs and think they are better than us” - implying thatriches will make you unlikable. These deep seeded thoughts have kept many fromsucceeding in life and have caused the death of thousands. These thoughts, or others likethem, have been placed by your enemy as strongholds to prevent you from becoming allthat God has planned for you to become and to prevent the joy of life that you are entitledto through the relationship of God. These carefully managed strongholds have beenstrategically placed through your life so that when you attempt to receive what God haspromised, you would come up against a stronghold of prevention . Let me show you astronghold that Satan has placed in many peoples lives that to this day has goneunrecognized under the illusion of it appearing as an angel of light to many. ( We havenever had much in life but we have always been happy and their has always been love inour family.) This sounds so well and good in the shining light of the words love andhappiness and we have heard this in so many of our TV programs being planted with theintensity of the dramatic moment of acceptance in order for us to receive it deeply withinour hearts! This implies that if you were to move out of the realm of the poor that youwould most likely miss out on this kind of affection , as if it could only occur in the lives ofthe poor. I do not deny that many poor people have shared love and happiness throughtheir lives in spite of there surroundings or standing in life. The deception is planted thatif you only achieve the love and happiness of family that it is okay and results as astronghold that tears away the ambition of many to press on towards success andachievements in life. How many wonderful things may have been experienced in the livesof others if people were to press on and achieve higher goals, greater inventions and newideas for others to act upon and follow.

When Satan has placed the stronghold of disease and health problems in the mind ofindividuals, all he has to do at certain stages of their lives, is then bring the feeling of thesymptom and the thought of its existence and many individuals readily accept it as thoughit were intended for them their whole lives and they put no resistance toward itsmanifestation. Although many will seek the aid of doctors and even experience success inits defeat, it will cost them considerable amounts of money and time that cannot bereplaced resulting in sorrow and loss for their families. We often times do not realize that their is a curse upon this earth brought throughthe fall of Adam. When we become Christians that curse has been broken through thepower of the blood of Jesus. The lingering effects that have been planted in the mind arestill at work preventing us from going on until they are washed out through the word andthe mind renewed through the word unto the truth. It is a stronghold of the mind that is refusing to change the way it thinks aboutcertain areas of life until it decides that what is being said is the truth. In other words, themind always thought this way about certain areas and it is almost offended at someonetelling them that this certain type of reasoning is not okay in Gods eyes. This is sometimesreferred to as a religious stronghold! It effects the way we think of prosperity or thepreachers and it comes from hearing relatives speak their minds on this subject instead ofthe mind of God through the word. It sounds right to the carnal man and his way ofthinking because the mind has not been renewed through the word and brought to ahigher level of reasoning. Eph.4:23, (ampl.) And be constantly renewed in the spirit of yourmind [ having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude ]24 And put on the new nature (the regenerate self ) created in God’s image, [ God like] intrue righteousness and holiness. A stronghold is designed to cause a reaction of the mind. A worldly carnal reactionthat will hold you to this lower level because scripture says that Satan is the god of thisworld and he can keep you defeated if you are held to it!2cor. 4:4 (ampl.) For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers minds [that theyshould not discern the truth] , preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of thegospel of the glory of Christ (the messiah) , Who is the Image and Likeness of God. Until we come up to a higher level of response we will not defeat our enemy. You cannot defeat your enemy acting like him! You will only defeat your enemy by acting likesomeone who is higher not equal to. We must act like Jesus.2cor.10:5 (ampl.) [Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasoning’s and everyproud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we leadevery thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the messiah, theanointed one) You must realize that their is lots of knowledge but it is the true knowledgethat we are looking for, and Satan is setting himself up against this knowledge. Not allknowledge is true knowledge and Gods people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge.There is a knowledge that we must have to keep from being destroyed and this knowledgeis revelation knowledge . Not just information , but a revelation imparted through theHoly Spirit. Eph. 3:3 (ampl.) [And] that the mystery (secret) was made known to me and Iwas allowed to comprehend it by direct revelation, as I already briefly wrote you.

Motivated To worship! What motivates you to worship? Sometimes during worship we find ourselves beingmotivated by a certain song, a certain mood, the actions of the people around us, or anythingthat might seem to stimulate our feelings in that direction. Why is it that when it comes time toworship the Lord we tend to wait on a feeling to be our motivation? We live in a society today that is easily persuaded and moved by the way things look,sound, or feel. Don’t get me wrong, our feelings have there place in our lives but let’s makesure that they are springing forth from our spirit instead of our flesh. We have grown up in thenatural realm believing that if it feels good, do it. Right or wrong who cares, it just feels right.This way of thinking has seemed to create a feel good groove. Somewhere along the line we’veallowed our actions or reactions to be preceded by some sort of learned natural feeling insteadof basing our actions on the truth. I believe this gets into a territory of the heart that God looksat very closely on why we do the things we do. Without realizing it, we find ourselves hanging out over in the natural realm waiting on afeeling to decide which way we are going to be motivated. Sure, it’s easy sometimes seeinghow we were trained that way. But it tends to be way out of place as far as worship isconcerned. The Bible says that those that worship the Lord must worship Him in Spirit and intruth. (John 4:23) Notice it didn’t say to worship according to our feelings. Some people justseem to worship when things are good and life couldn’t be better. Sure, it’s easy then, but whyshould our expressions toward God change if things seem to get a little rough. On the otherhand, some people just seem to worship when things aren’t looking so good, or when they

really feel like they need Him. We are clearly showing how much we are being moved byour fleshly feelings by not being consistent in our worship. By waiting on a feeling we areplacing our response to worship on someone or something else. What if things neverchanged? Does that mean we just shut down an never worship? Of course not!PRAISE YE THE LORD! Is the decree. It doesn’t have anything to do with how you feel. Feelings are overratedwhen it comes to worship, because worship is a heart thing, not a head thing. It’s somethingthat we do because of who he is to us. It’s a spirit thing. It’s a you and him thing. He is moreawesome to us than us just waiting on a feeling to worship. God cares how we feel and whatwe feel, but when it comes time to worship He wants our motivations to be Him, not thethings around us. Let’s be moved by what He’s done for us. Let’s be moved by His thoughtstoward us. Let’s be moved by who He is, His love, His compassion, and His faithfulness.Let’s walk in the spirit and let Him be our motivation.
