Personal and corporate bank account transactional data and categorisation. API This document outlines the process that our backend API will follow in real time, we built the following API demo app to show the various stages from Simplifi to the account holder and ultimately what you the client will receive. Session Creation ID number and email address are required to create a session. Each session allows for only one transaction/api call Session and a unique token have been created.
Session and token shown here. Bank Login The account holder will need to login to provide his/her transactions, this is done securely and with consent provided, this process is also completed on the account holder device.
Account Holder Email. Account holder receives a mail from us and proceeds to consent to and provide his/her account for the transactions to be provided. Bank Selection. Account holder then selects their bank. Should your bank not show, please select the search button and type in your bank name. Simplifi provides transactional data for 13 banks.
Banking Credentials. Account holder now completes their banking credentials in a secure environment as consented to Account holder inserts credentials and submits.
All the accounts on the account holder’s portfolio are then provided for selection. Bank accounts that the account holder does not wish to provide, can now be deleted before closing off the process for the account holder.
View Accounts. Account/s provided by the account holder are now viewable by clicking on the “View Accounts” button. The selected account/s will now show here, selected in blue, however if multiple accounts were provided, you must select the account you wish to provide transactions on.
View Transactions. To view the transactions and the categorisation of the provided bank account please click on the “View Transactions” button.
All transactions for 90 days are provided, showing the transaction value, what the transaction is and the transaction date. All transactions are categorised given you the client an easy view of what your applicant/client is spending their money on.
