Welcome from the Artistic Director, Tom Trenney Dear friends, Who would have ever imagined that our 2020-21 Abendmusik Season, our 49th, would be quite so unique?! But what a blessing it is to have this opportunity, even in the midst of a pandemic, to gather – albeit virtually – to experience music that inspires. We graciously thank our concert sponsors and donors, each of whom make our continued success possible. In addition, we thank every one of you who purchased tickets for this event, and for being a part of our Abendmusik community. We pray that the music you will hear will become a stream in this desert, and that your experience with Abendmusik today might bring some healing and restore some hope, as we all find our way in the midst of this new wilderness. We will be back together again, but until then, we are grateful that we can share this holy ground online as we continue to find ways to enrich community and inspire collaboration in this beautiful neighborhood.
