final assessment experience with ma'am sab t Having Ma'am Sab as our instructor made me appreciate the essence of r general education subjects in college. Oftentimes, I do not regard GE a courses as important as our major subjects but when I had the chance to c learn Gender and Society under Ma'am Sab, my perspective have shifted. k I have come to realize that general education subjects can be fun and memorable when you're learning from a genuinely passionate teacher. 0 2 That one short semester have changed me in a lot of ways—all of which are for the better. It urged me to correct my internal biases and harmful beliefs. It also made me more socially aware and empathetic. Aside from these, I also got more participative and attentive during lectures which is something that doesn't happen every day. I owe all of this to Ma'am Sab and her prowess for teaching. I will never forget this learning experience, no matter how short it has been, as it has taught me a lot of valuable knowledge that I will be cherishing forever.
final assessment topic that piqued my interest t A topic that piqued my interest through the entirety of this subject is r patriarchy. I have recently saw a video online wherein the speaker was a justifying how we can not holistically blame the men of today for c patriarchy and how the \"men are trash\" movement can be harmful. I k think this topic is thought-provoking and can spark discussions as I myself have said that phrase a couple of times and have been 0 generally \"disliking\" men due to patriarchy. I thought about how we 4 tend to weaponize patriarchy against men in our effort to advocate for women empowerment. But then, we have also been oppressed for such a long time now. I still do not have a firm footing regarding this topic and I would've loved to open this while we still had classes but sadly, I came across that video a bit too late. Hopefully, we can talk about this sometime together with our classmates and Ma'am Sab! :)
