MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL DESK Greetings to All MONT E-MAG is a Magazine to acknowledge to create a New born Child of creators to focus their skills and talents of various kinds and fields. Indeed a very happy moment for all, which results in every creation of each child is Modularity preparation of creating delicious, tasty and energetic presentation. To adapt new way of assignment, it needs a lots of preparation. Thus our school teachers had taken lots of efforts in creating this MONT E-Mag. We believe that it may flourish and bloom in the garden of Montfort. I shall call upon all the students to prove your potentiality and caliber. Thus it may pave way in thinking and bringing to this world a wonderous creation of our beautiful mind. This E-Mag must fly higher than the sky and individually must touch each being and cherish every moment of our journey in this Montfort School, Ariyalur. I wish and thank all the children, teachers and Committee members and Coordinators for regulating the students for their noble presentation. MONTQ-2021-22 Our school proudly conducted an online state level quiz competition during the pandemic situation. The final round of this great competition was held in our school on 26th February, 2022. Dr. Malarvizhi, the Principal of Govt. Arts College graciously accepted our invitation and inaugurated the offline competition. She appreciated the efforts taken by school management for conducting such competition to help students to be in touch with their studies especially in the pandemic situation. The offline competition was conducted in three levels and the winners were congratulated with attractive prizes and cash. All the students were helped to watch this competition through live telecast from their classes. As the climax of the MONTQ State Level Quiz Competition, a Valedictory Function was celebrated in our school on 26th February, 2022. The parents, the well-wishers, the principals from the neighbouring schools were invited for the function. Our Rev.Bro. Principal welcomed the Chief Guest and the other dignitaries, The Chief Guest, Mr. Gopinath, before addressing the audience, distributed the prizes and the cash awards to the winners of the MONTQ State Level Competition. Mr. Gopinath spoke about the role of the parents in the upbringing their children towards their better future. Women’s Day Celebration The purpose of celebrating Women's Day in schools is to raise awareness in the minds of the students about the status and the dignity of women among students especially in the minds of the girl students. It was celebrated in a grand manner in our school on 12th March 2022. The celebration began with a prayer song by our lady teachers. The mothers of our students were invited. They came in large numbers and shared their views on the importance of women in the society today. They participated in the fun activities prepared by the teachers and enjoyed the celebration. The Chief Guest, R. Lavanya, thanked the school management for inviting her to be the chief guest of the function. She highlighted the roles played by women in various fields in the world today. She said that women are increasingly being recognized as more vulnerable than men in almost all fields. She encouraged the girl students to become aware of their importance in the society. The students added beauty to the day by their performances through various activities and dances. 2222
