INITIAL IDEA: Currently I’m ruled by overwhelming emotions about an overlap between incidents that have occured in the two places I call home; Palestine and Jordan. On Novermber 17th, someone’s eyesight was forcefully taken away from them in Palestine. On November 10th, someone’s eyesight was forcefully taken away from them in Jordan. The act of robbing someone away from one of their senses speak greatly on the level of opression and colonization that is placed over them. I identify so strongly with the my home and the citizens of it, that I almost feel like I’ve lost my sight. I will use the emotions that overtake me as tools to guide my through this project. -3-
