Erasmus 2019-2022 Project: Social media for Educational purposes Collaborative poem on social media To take photos and to post this is what I like most (Iro, Greece) My number one moto always post a great photo (Chryssa, Greece) No filters, no plastic Only me and it’s fantastic (Maria, Greece) talking and texting i love this is the social media world (Panagiotis, Greece) It is fun, taking photos in the sun (John, Greece) But our photos and our chats must be kept between us (Ewelina,Poland) The published photos are a great souvenir, But we must protect them so that there is no affair. (Kacper, Poland) To keep these photos safe, We should keep them in a database. (Michał, Poland) We should make them available to friends or never send (Bartek, Poland) Taking photos of friends is the best especially during the fest (Xanthippi,Greece) Lights, camera, action, socials bring us lots of satisfaction. (Amelka, Poland) we should keep our information far away from publication (Paweł, Poland) Taking a photo of true friends, Is just like keeping a strong bond between mates. I want friends to see all the places I Get to be (Nursima, Turkey) Warsaw, Athens, Sofia All close through Social Media
(Elif Naz,Turkey) Posting stories are great But be sure to protect (Resad Akif, Turkey) There might be dangers roaming Scheming, bullying, lying (Veli,Turkey) Do not mock, do not bully We are all connected Don't you see? (Neşe, Turkey) I have got a picture for you go on click It is so fast blink blink (Omer, Turkey) Each photo is a different story that remains in my memory. (Gabriela, Poland) Social helps you learn. Share your knowledge It’s your turn. Posting photos is fun. Don’t use it as a gun. (Bulgaria) Snap a photo, it’s easy to try Show me your world and don’t be so shy (Maraiah, Bulgaria) Tik Tok can make you rich But it can also give your brain a glitch. (Ivana, Bulgaria) Instagram is interesting, but it takes a lot of your time. Instead of scrolling your feed better have a drink with lime (Sisi, Bulgaria) Come with us, join us! We will have a lot of fun, TOGETHER. Come with us, join us! Let’s create a better world! TOGETHER Come with us, join us! Let's create and celebrate, TOGETHER When we are going to the park, when we are riding a bike, we will sing a happy song, TOGETHER. We will dream, we will cry,
we will sing, we will fly, TOGETHER! All the children of the world, and the people all around, let us build another world, TOGETHER! We will dream, we will fly, like a bird in the sky, TOGETHER! (Tzvetan, Bulgaria) And when we see all of our friends It's fun and it's exciting To find it's not the end, It's time for reuniting. (Andrea, Bulgaria) On the Internet we can meet people of all around the world And we don't have to be concerned. (Florin, Romania) But if we see our online friends, We know it depends on us to discuss, To make sure they can have our trust. (Andrei, Romania) And then we can have a lot of fun, We can post on Instagram. (Matei, Romania) We will listen our favorite song And get along. (Adrian, Romania) We will search together on the Internet Where we can learn another alphabet. (Adelina, Romania) We can watch a movie online together And feel a lot better. (Denisa, Romania) After all on the Internet we have to be very careful, Because there are some people that don't want us to be successful. (Amalia, Romania) They can track our private information And that will be very stressful. (Andra, Romania)
Erasmus 2019-2022 Project: Social media for Educational purposes Collaborative story Title: International collaboration through social media That international project was very demanding. The subject had to do with the protection of the environment. Students from many countries had to collaborate to create common presentations. Everything started when they found themselves in a common Instagram group. (Panagiotis Mavromichalis, Greece) Suddenly, one of the members sent a link to an article about air pollution. The way the article was written, made all the members concerned about the environment. (Iro, Greece) Air pollution is one of the most serious environmental problems that concern everyone. Through this article the members of the group started a conversation about the problem and what everyone can do, not only as an individual but as a group also, so that air pollution could be reduced. (Amelia Węgrzyniak, Poland) There were a lot of great ideas on how to reduce air pollution. They decided to write them down in the presentation. After some time, the group started wondering what they can do to produce less litter and how they can make our planet cleaner. (Ewelina Matejko, Poland) There were many suggestions on how we can help in taking care of clean air. We have no influence on large factories, but we decide ourselves how we heat our homes, whether we use renewable sources of energy and whether we often replace our car with a bicycle. (Kacper Wsòł, Poland) Other than using fossil fuels for power, we can use a cleaner and safer alternative. We can use renewable energy such as: solar energy, wind energy or windmills, hydroelectric energy and lastly nuclear energy. Nuclear energy may sound scary but it can be used in a safe way if all the procedures are done right and the radioactive waste is handled probably. It's a win-win situation. You get a lot of energy from these methods and it's safe for the earth! (Paweł Kulikowski Poland) We can also reduce water consumption. For example, when you water your garden, you can use rainwater. Furthermore, when we bath, we can take a shower instead of the bath. Maybe on a daily scale it's a small difference, but for a year the savings will be huge. (Bartłomiej Węgrzyniak, Poland)
Nowadays there is also a very serious problem with using more energy than we need. We can invest in other solutions like water energy or energy from wind. If we suit this we can invest to help our planet. (MIchał Sierhej, Poland) Next idea to reduce air pollution is about burning in a home stove. For example, we can not burn rubbish or not overheat the home. We can also save energy at home, work or school by not leaving our charger in the socket or not leaving electrical devices etc. (John Vanhoudt, Greece) Another great idea for reducing air pollution is to start using electric cars, also if we can't afford an electric car we can start going to places that are close to our homes by foot or even better by bicycle. (Maria, Greece) I have come to realize that fuel plays a major role in air pollution. So, another great, yet complicated solution, is to impose aviation taxes, in order to reduce flights. Therefore, planes will use less kerosene, since people will avoid traveling by plane. (Xanthippi, Greece) Education can play a major role in teaching people to respect the environment, but the main problem is the endless pursuit of profit at all cost, by large international companies. As citizens we must pressure our governments to stop this catastrophic policy. (Gabriela, Poland) In the world people waste a lot of food. The United Nations organization reports that 1.3 billions tons of food is thrown away each year. There are many promotions in every store but we should buy only those products that we really need. We can give unnecessary things to people who need this. We will help others and we will not pollute the environment. Deforestation is a serious danger to our environment. Trees help to clean the air. Therefore we can plant more trees and plants. This will make our environment cleaner and more beautiful. (Sisi, Bulgaria) We must prevent fire incidents in the forests as they pose a great danger to earth, plants and wildlife. Stay calm and protect our planet. (Mitko, Bulgaria) The production of a lot of items is connected to the release of bad emissions in the environment. We can help to reduce that by reusing our old items in new ways, by making new items from old materials, by exchanging items with other people, etc. “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure” (Bobi, Bulgaria) To save the environment we have to recycle and use less plastic and packaging. (Amalia, Romania) For instance, you can reuse plastic bottles or you can buy some made of metal or glass. You can also buy straws made of metal or recycled materials instead of plastic ones.
(Andra, Romania) Furthermore, an option for you would be recycling paper, batteries and bags or reusable cups. When possible print and copy on both sides of the paper. (Florin, Romania) Other things that lead to pollution are using household cleaning products and pest killers, which contain chemicals and affect the environment. A solution to this would be trying not only to use them seldom but also to stop using them when it's possible. (Matei, Romania) Another way to save the environment is by reading online books or donating them to the ones who need them. If you do so, there would be a lot of papers and trees saved. (Adelina, Romania) It is well known that water pollution, caused by throwing trash or medicines in the water, leads to marine life extinction. Because of this, more and more fish are dying every day. (Adrian, Romania) Climate changes and severe droughts lead to a lack of potable water and can also cause health problems. So, it would be very useful for us to take care of the environment and not pollute it. If we do so, we will be happier and healthier and the same for the ones around us. (Denisa, Romania) By turning the lights off or using fans instead of air conditioners we can save a lot of energy and at the same time, we can reduce air pollution. (Andrei, Romania) Another way to protect the environment is to start picking up the trash around your neighbourhood. That will save the habitat of some animals and reduce the air pollution around your place.
Erasmus 2019-2022 Project: Social media for Educational purposes Collaborative story Title: A bad day in social media The weather was marvelous outside but the mood of some students at school was not so good. Something serious had happened during the previous days. It had to do with harassment in social media. (Michał Sierhej, Poland) Someone made an awful comment on our school Facebook. It was about our teachers, the headmaster and our school building. (Bartłomiej Węgrzyniak Poland) The headmaster was upset and immediately started looking for a person who wrote it. (Ewelina Matejko, Poland) All students were gathered in the hall. The headmaster talked about what had happened and showed us a film about hate on the internet. The person who wrote the comment was asked to confess. (Amelia Węgrzyniak Poland) But no one confessed so the headmaster still had no clue who it could be, so he left the whole situation for a while. But after some time another hate comment showed up on our school Facebook. (Kacper Wsół, Poland) The hate comment was talking about how the headmaster and students are too sensitive, and that they should \"take a hike and get lost.\" This made the headmaster furious. (Paweł Kulikowski, Poland) The headmaster decided to report everything to the police and investigate the case. He also promised to solve the problem and punish all students responsible for hate comments. (Panagiotis Mavromichalis, Greece) As the headmaster was talking with the police, he received a notification. It said: “Calling the police will not do anything”. After some time, the police arrived at the school. One of the policemen was holding a warrant saying to check everyone's mobile phones and Social Media accounts. (Ιro, Greece) Most of the students agreed on having their phones checked, saying that this is the only way to find who is responsible for this situation. But, there were some students who didn’t want to give their phones because, as they said, it’s their personal data. (Chryssa, Greece) But at this point the headmaster didn’t really care because all he wanted was for the comments to be deleted and find the person who wrote them. (John, Greece) So he made an announcement to the students, saying that those
who don’t want to give their phone and be checked, will be punished with a week of detention. The students were very upset regarding this decision. (Maria,Greece) After the announcement, more students agreed to get their phones checked, but some others were still not willing to give their phones and they got punished. At this point some parents got upset, because they did not want their child’s privacy exposed. (Xanthippi, Greece) The students who were punished along with their parents and some other students who found the punishment to be unfair, started to protest outside the school yard, making the headmaster take back his decision, but still the problem of social harassment remained. (Resad,Turkey) The headmaster thought about this issue for some time and decided to create something positive to solve the problem. (Gabriela, Poland) He realized that students spend a little time with each other and too much on social media. He decided that he would not punish them for now. He said that for a whole week there would be no lessons, no phones but they will be at school together. (Mitko, Bulgaria) I opened my school gmail and I saw a message from a 16-year old guy who told me I was a hacker. But I am not a hacker. (Matei, Romania) After the headmaster decided to organize a week without lessons, phones, just us being together, we thought that everything would be better. (Andrei, Romania) On Monday the classrooms and the school hallways were full of waves of laughter. But no one could expect what would happen the following day. (Florin, Romania) On Thursday morning, the news was already spreading all around the city: someone had sent to a TV channel some fake news about the school and its students. (Adelina, Romania) It's believed to be a hacker who broke into the school network, but no one could prove it. Some people assumed that he was one of the students of this school. (Adrian, Romania) When the headmaster heard this, he organized an emergency meeting with teachers and policemen. So a teacher came up with a great idea: to try to contact the hacker to pretend to be one in order to get along with him. The one who will find out who this person is will receive an amount of money. (Denisa, Romania)
Two days later everyone wanted to make new friends, socialize with others and find out more things about each other. While doing this, they realised how unique and amazing their schoolmates were. (Amalia, Romania) Three years later and the hacker was never found, but the students and teachers were happier than ever. They could easily remember the way that experience changed them and made them communicate with others. (Andra, Romania) Now, all of them know that hatred is not an option. My favorite singer Mariah Carey is recently getting a lot of bad comments on her fan page. I feel bad for her because she’s a good person and people are too quick to believe in rumors. (Mariah, Bulgaria) Some parents write mean comments about our school, because they are unhappy about something. Other parents believe them because they think it's honest feedback, but not all comments are true. This is dangerous, because it can ruin the reputation of good institutions. (Sisi, Bulgaria) One day a boy on Tik Tok followed me. My Tik Tok is private so I can let only the people I know see my videos. I removed him from my followers. But then he started following me again. I removed him from my followers. But then he started following me again. I removed him again… in time he stopped, but this was very annoying and disturbing . (Ivana, Bulgaria) One girl on Tik Tok has a profile where she posts drawings of people. She has a good talent, but many people hate her. For example they say “This is printed” or “You have a good printer”. I think this is right.
