TRIBUTE TO Oh !!! my good brother, adviser, and a true friend, Mr. Emmanuel Amoku-Mensa. Our friendship MY FRIEND AND began in the early days at Ejisuman Senior High COLLEAGUE School when we started teaching. We had a lot of good times from issues through to heated BY DR. ERNEST OSEI political debates and several others. I left Ejisuman SHS for a different institution and you were still teaching there until your unfortunate demise. We kept our beautiful friendship intact. I remember the beaming smiles and the excitement on your face when I informed you that I have gained admission to pursue my Ph.D. in South Africa. When I finally completed my program, you shared in my joy and excitement, then you started calling me Doc ! Doc! I remember the advice you gave me after completing my program which I cherish so much. I also recall vividly when your first child Vanessa gained admission to Wesley Girls’ Senior High School, your happiness, and the very good plans you had for her. Little did I know that you will not live to see her complete her secondary education. 22 | MR. EMMANUEL AMOKU-MENSAH

Oh, death has dealt us a big blow. When we heard you were sick, we visited you severally hoping that you will regain your strength and recover fully. I can’t forget that fateful Sunday when my phone rang and the unfortunate news was broken to me. It shook me off from my seat and my phone fell. I was shaking with a lot of goose bumps on my body and did not know what to do. Hey! I was broken, shattered, devasted, and sad about your demise. Indeed, a true friend is gone. A friend who will give you all the support in times of happiness and difficult situations. Emma, your physical presence is gone but the lessons you taught me will never be forgotten. I know you are at peace with your maker and resting in the bosom of our Lord. You had a heart that cared completely. You had the smile that brought us so much pleasure. Your friendship was a blessing and I will forever miss you. !!!!!!!Damirifa Due, Nante yie!!!!!!!! MR. EMMANUEL AMOKU-MENSAH | 23
