CRITICAL REFLECTION Fashion design is the subject I want to pursue in my career and learning and studying a subject in which I want to build my career made it interesting for me already. Pattern making class has always been fun and interac- tive. Specially the class in which we were in college and we had practicals. It was fun. The class would be so much more fun if we had our college on. It was very interactive even on the zoom call. I think in every class I learned something new. Starting from the first class I had no idea what we were going to do but as we started I started having ideas and I started understanding what the subject is. I think it helped me to finalize my discipline for the next year. And then we made patterns learned about patterns we learned about shirts, shirts, and style. We learned different types of silhouettes. And also I went to my friend for a shoot and started with shoots already. Where we used tracing paper and tried to pattern a garment. I think this was like an enter- taining class in the hectic week we had. I loved ev- ery bit and every process of work. When we were learning about different types of fashion details I enjoyed that as I had quite a knowledge al- ready. I have illustrated a lot of types of collars, pants, skirts, and pleats.
And then finally the anatomy of the shirt. This is something I was most interested in as I have been working in this field for quite a time. We were then asked to make illustrations of our designs I wasn’t confident at first but then I somehow did it and then I enjoyed it. This was a very fun subject and I think I learned a lot and the most out of it. There was so much information in my field which I had no idea about and I’m glad that I learned it in this course.
