MARIS RAUDZINS Celebrating universal land we present Latvian- Australian sculptor Maris Raudzins (b. 27 March, 1946) working in 2D and 3D. He co-foundeed WA sculptors association in 1973, has featured in 5 Sculpture by the Sea exhibitions, and has exhibited internationally. CURRENT EXHIBITION DESERT PAINTERS 12 02 — 06 03 KAMILĖ GALLERY X WIRNDA BARNA ART CENTRE 12 FEBRUARY 2021 - 6 MARCH 2021 Desert Painters exhibition celebrates Perth festival and presents artists from Wirnda Barna Art Centre, located in Mount Magnet. The Wirnda Barna Art Centre supports Aboriginal Artists from Badimia and Wajarri Country based in Mount Magnet and Yalgoo. Artists draw inspiration from the rich landscape, spectacular wildflower season in Spring and important cultural sites of the region including the Granites, Wilgie Mia Aboriginal Ochre Mine, Australia’s largest ochre mine and Walga Rock, Western Australia’s largest gallery of Aboriginal rock paintings.
