Hello!! Welcome to chapter 2 Understanding Consonant & vowel English language has 26 alphabets or letters In these 26 letters 5 are vowel and 1 is special vowel. And Rest of letters are consonants. vowel's are - A, E, I, O, U Special vowel is \"Y\" Consonants are - B,C,D,F,G,H,J K,L,M,N,P,Q,R S,T,V,W,X,Y,Z Usage of a or an in front of noun: Any noun starts with consonants we have to use A in front of the noun.

Example a dog a cat a mango a washing machine Any Noun which starts with Vowel we use A Example- an apple an elephant an icecream an orange Usage of 's' & 'es' in singular and plural noun: Normally we use \"s\" in the end of the noun to make it plural. Example: two rings three dogs five apples

Now we will understand the usage of “es” in plural noun: Any noun which ends with ch, sh, x, ss or z Example: church churches brush Brushes Fox Foxes Dress Dresses Class Classes so what we have learn from this chapter?? 1)vowel 2) Consonant 3)usage of a & an 4) about Singular & plural verb Thank you!! please practice the exercise and vocabulary.
