A) NIFT National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur known as NIFT Kannur is one of the 17 campuses of NIFT,an institution for Fashion,Design,Technology and Management.NIFT offers four-year undergraduate bachelor's degrees in Design and Technology and two- year post-graduate master's degrees in Design, Fashion Management and Fashion Technology. Students are selected through NIFT Entrance Examination. 3. D) Graduate Record Examination The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) is a standardized test that is an admission requirement for many graduate schools in the United States, Canada and few other countries. The GRE is owned and administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).GRE aims to measure verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, analytical writing, and critical thinking skills that have been acquired over a long period of learning. 10. B) EXCEL INDIA YES India has started this project to identify talented undergraduate students and to inform them about premiere institutes. Interested students are given proper guidance and coaching to crack the Entrance Examination for Post Graduate courses. B) 3 Years The JRF or JRF Junior Research Fellow is a letter awarded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to the candidates who qualify the National Eligibility Test securing marks equal/higher than the set cut-off for JRF in the particular subject. INR 31,000 per month will be given to each Junior Fellow for the first 2 years. INR 35,000 per month will be given for remaining tenure if work is satisfactory. 13. C) PMRF (Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship) The Prime Minister's Research Fellowship(PMRF) Scheme has been designed for improving the quality of research in various higher educational institutions in the country. Selected candidates will get a fellowship of Rs 70,000 per month for the first two years, Rs 75,000 per month for the third year, and Rs 80,000 per month in the fourth and fifth year. 14. A) DAAD Scholarship The DAAD, or the German Academic Exchange Service, focuses on funding international students to get their education in Germany.The minimum requirement to apply for a DAAD scholarship normally is an IELTS certificate or TOEFL (minimum score 550 paper based, 213 computer based and 80 internet based). German: For those courses taught in German, a DSH 2 or Testdaf 4 certificate is necessary for matriculation. Postgraduate students will be given a monthly stipend of 850 Euros. Doctoral students will be given 1,200 Euros. 15. A) HSEE HSEE( Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination) is held at the national level to fill 58 M.A seats in IIT Madras. The admission is sought for two courses : Integrated M.A. in Development Studies and Integrated M.A. in English Studies. 16. B) GATE Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination conducted jointly by IISc and 7 IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board. It’s score is used for admissions to various post-graduate education programs (e.g. Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, Doctor of Philosophy) in Indian higher education institutes, with financial assistance provided by MHRD and other government agencies.GATE scores are also being used by several Indian public sector undertakings for recruiting graduate engineers in entry-level positions. 17. D) Econometrics

Econometric uses the study of statistical theory and mathematical statistics to find estimators which have desirable statistical properties including unbiasedness, efficiency and consistency. B) Fulbright Scholarship Fulbright-Nehru Master's Fellowship is designed for outstanding Indians to pursue a master's degree program at selected U.S. colleges and universities in the areas of Arts and Culture Management including Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies, Economics, Environmental Science, Higher Education Administration, International Affairs, International Legal Studies, Public Administration, Public Health, Urban and Regional Planning and Women's Studies(Gender Studies) . 19. A) SoP (Statement of Purpose) A Statement of Purpose (SOP), also known as a research statement or a letter of intent, is written to the admission panel and talks about your career path, interests, professional contributions, goals and the driving force behind pursuing a particular program, mainly to get enrolled in abroad universities. . 20. A) BARC Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is a multi-disciplinary research centre with extensive infrastructure for advanced research and development covering the entire spectrum of nuclear science, chemical engineering, material sciences & metallurgy, electronic instrumentation, biology and medicine, supercomputing, high-energy physics and Plasma physics and associated research for Indian nuclear programme and related areas.
