FAP WELCOMING FERTILIZER IMPORTERS Installation of Grab Unloaders along with Direct Discharge, Conveying, and Bagging Facility for Fertilizer. FAP always endeavored to acquire the latest technology for delivering the most efficient & secure cargo handling solutions. To further extend its services, FAP installed two Grab Unloaders in June 2022 which has tremendously enhanced its operational capacity for handling multiple cargos including DAP, Urea, PKE, etc. Also, FAP is installing 6x New Precision Bagging Stations to deliver Direct Bagging of around 12,000 Tons Per Day (TPD) which will be an addition to the FAP’s existing designed capacity of dispatch equipment of around 45,000 Tons Per Day. With these arrangements in place, FAP is leading toward industrial transformation by enabling customers to import a larger volume of Fertilizer in gearless vessels by ensuring the fastest vessel turnaround, enabling greater foreign exchange and freight savings with maximized dispatch earnings. This will not only benefit the importers of fertilizer industry but will also significantly contribute to the National Exchequer.

Terminal Expansion by Reclamation of adjacent 7-Acres Land To facilitate the customers by accommodating maximum loading of their trucks along with improved traffic management for minimizing terminal congestion, and to ensuring smooth cargo lifting and dispatch operations, FAP Terminal is initiating the reclamation of additional seven (7) acres of land adjacent to the Terminal. This will enable FAP to cater increasing imports of bulk grain and fertilizer imports in Pakistan and to handle larger volume of cargo. Development of Additional Storage Facility To facilitate our valued customers, FAP is planning to enhance storage capacity by 50,000 tons covered storage facility. The development of additional storage capacity will result in fast discharging of cargo from the vessels without interruption and smooth cargo dispatch operations. Dispute Resolution Committee In order to provide conflict management facility to our customers the FAP Terminal in collaboration with APSEA has established a Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) to resolve various issues and ensure optimum customer satisfaction. FAP is also initiating periodic visits to its customers to obtain ‘Feedback’ and ‘Suggestions’ for various service enhancement measures.

Dust Control System FAP is the first terminal in Pakistan that is planning to install State-of-the-Art ‘Dust Control System’ meeting International Standards which has never been installed before by any other terminal. This will greatly improve the air quality by controlling dust and fine particles to prevent health-related issues. The project is scheduled to be completed by end of March 2023. Health, Safety, and Environment FAP believes that productivity can only be achieved through a safe working environment. To uplift the effectiveness of its HSE system to the next level, various HSE Training being conducted on a regular basis with an ultimate objective to minimize and avoid risks and hazards at workplace, ensuring safe and healthy working environment at the Terminal.
Carbon-Free Energy Projects To become a carbon-free and energy-efficient terminal, FAP is in the process to install Solar Panels to develop climate-friendly and cost-saving energy solutions. Moreover, the terminal is also conducting a study on the possibilities of installing wind turbine. Paperless Environment FAP is moving towards Paperless Environment through Digitalization of its records. This will not only increase the terminal efficiency but will also contribute to reduce the solid waste by minimizing paper consumption and a step towards promoting the paperless friendly environment. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY FAP considers CSR Activities to be incredibly important and is sensitive to the needs of Stakeholders, especially in line with our host communities, and most of our social investments directly address the needs. The same is demonstrable through contributions made in various activities such as Flood Relief Program, Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund, Fateh Jang Hospital Project, and donations for the treatment of deserving ex-service officers and soldiers of Pakistan.

Aggeler, Consul General Karachi Mr. Mark Stroh, and U.S. Ambassador along with the team of Cargill Pakistan visited FAP Terminal. Secretary Defence Visit of FAP On 27th June 2022, Secretary Defence with MD Fauji Foundation visited FAP. CEO FAP briefed over various challenges faced by the Terminal as well as its customers. Secretary Defence also planted a sapling at the premises of FAP. Annual Dinner On 30th June 2022, the Annual Dinner was organized for the staff of FAP Terminal.
Cadet College Students Visit On 24th May 2022, FAP organized an orientation visit for the cadets of Petaro College. Maritime Students visit to FAP In order to promote Maritime Education, FAP arranged a Terminal visit for the students of Bahria University, elaborated on the operational activities, and encouraged the students to excel in Maritime Sector. Trainees Visited FAP On 7th September 2022, the trainees of Engro VOPAK’s \"Uraan” Technical Trainee Program for Women Empowerment visited FAP Terminal. FAP team elaborated on the operational activities, instruments, and safety measures.
