Head Coach Welcome Welcome Coaches The 2020/21 season is upon us, and I am thrilled to have you all on board to help the program grow. The purpose of this manual is to ensure we undertake this season with a shared vision. We are all committed to help build a culture and set standards to uphold from the top of the program down, for not only our students, but also all our coaches. I have been very fortunate to have had success at both the domestic and international levels in the sport of Basketball, which has in turn enabled me to travel the world representing our county and various teams. I aim to use the lessons I have learnt to help guide our behaviours, values and position our students for success both on and off the court. I am available to help you all, so please contact me anytime for more drills, plans, feedback, or if you require help with students. I will be around regularly to assist with sessions, provide new ideas and also to give the students a new voice to listen to in those times during the season when required. Just remember, you are role models for your players. Take time to think back to when you were younger and the kind of influence, good or bad, your coaches had on you. I am sure we can all remember going home to tell a story of what happened at training or what the coach said. Always be the change you would like to see. Kind regards, Renae Camino Director of Basketball Coaching 3
