Exercise 1: Movements• Create a program in the Scratch 1.4 software to allow the bird to make wing flapping sound.• Make use of the tilt sensor to activate the sound. – Gather the kids to make some wing flapping sound and record it. Any unauthorized reprint or use of this material is prohibited.

Exercise 2: Tilt Sensor• Insert additional blocks to the program.• The bird will make wing flapping sound when it is tilted upwards or downwards.• The whole program will stop running when the key “a” is pressed on the keyboard. Any unauthorized reprint or use of this material is prohibited.

Exercise 3: Distance Sensor• Modify the program to insert a distance sensor program block.• The whole program will stop running when an object is within a distance of 20.• Try changing the value of the distance sensor and observe. Any unauthorized reprint or use of this material is prohibited.
