HI NATURE Science team is inviting you to look what we done in Aprli Our tasks: 1. WE INVESTIGATED LIFE STYLES AND BODY STRUCTURES OF CREATURES (ANIMALS, PLANTS) LIVING IN OCEAN OR IN WATER 2. We made code related to marine organisms 3. Experiment Floating with a Swim Bladder
1.TASK- INVESTIGATE LIFE STYLES AND BODY STRUCTURES OF CREATURES (ANIMALS, PLANTS) LIVING IN OCEAN OR IN WATER What we did: We learned that many organisms were We studied the species of organisms the inspiration for living in the oceans making inventions and waters and useful to man based on the collected information we made posters
Our posters
There are some examples what we learned BIOWAVE: Biomimicry Solution Chicago Spire- for Ocean Power inspired by seashell Shark skin is the inspiration for the production of coatings for ships so that they do not catch algae An Amphibious Floating Garden Robots inspired by That Purifies The Water, The jellyfish Physalia. Turbines inspired by humpback whales
2. TASK-2. Make code related to marine organisms We used the digital tool(code.org) to encode \"AL for oceans\". We have determined which fish will reduce pollution in the sea. We received a certificate for a successfully completed task.
3. TASK- Experiment Floating with a Swim Bladder We investigate: What we were doing What we observed - the function of the We put a balloon in a We observed what swimming bladder in the glass bottle, wrapped the happens to the bottle when we movement of fish tape tightly around the inflate or deflate neck of the bottle, the balloon What we need threaded a tube through glass bottle the neck of the bottle, plug put the bottle in a balloon adhesive tape container with water and plastic tube inflated the balloon larger transparent container water
We made a video with our results
We made a conclusion : Fish have a floating bladder that works on the principle of a balloon that inflates and exhales. When the bladder is full of air, the fish swims towards the surface of the water, and when it is exhaled, the fish sinks.
