Automobile Event - 1 Engineering Industrial Visit to ABI-SHOWATECH India Pvt Ltd, Pulivalam, Tamil Nadu Date 31/05/2022 Beneficiary 4th and 6th Sem students The Department of Automobile Engineering, New Horizon College of Engineering arranged an industrial visit on 31st May 2022. During the visit, the students visited ABI-SHOWATECH India Pvt Ltd, Pulivalam, Tamil Nadu. A total of 45 students from the 4th and 6th semester with the faculty coordinators visited the company. Event - 2 Auto Adventure 2.0 Date 31/05/2022 Beneficiary 4th and 6th Sem students Auto Adventure 2.0 workshop was conducted exclusively for women by SAE Club, Department of Automobile Engineering. In this workshop, the participants were demonstrated how to maintain an automobile, basic servicing of two and four wheelers like tightening the brakes, inflation of the tires, wheel change etc… Event - 3 Auto Adventure 2.0 Date 13/06/2022 Beneficiary 4th and 6th Sem students This event consisted of two rounds, 1st round was an exciting DIY car building round and the final round was to complete a custom-made track, this round was also time-based. Each team was given 3 tries to complete the track out of which the fastest time was taken as the score.
