BLITHE SPIRIT BY NOEL COWARD - PRESENTED BY STAGE2THEATRECOMPANYBlithe Spirit is a comic play by Noël Coward. The play concerns the socialite and novelist Charles Condomine, a writer, has inviteda self-proclaimed local medium, Madame Arcati to hold a seance at his house hoping to gather material for a new book. The localdoctor and his wife are also invited. Both Charles and his new wife Ruth have been married before but their previous partners died.When the hapless psychic accidentally summons the spirit of Charles’s first wife Elvira, visible only to Charles, his home and lifequickly begin to unravel.18th - 21st November, 7.30pm - €16 (Child €14) - The TheatreSANTA’S STORYTIME & THE POLAR EXPRESS MOVIEA very special person will be visiting with his elves on Saturday 21st November to tell you you all a magical Christmas Story. As Santa then heads off to the North Pole to getworking on all those toy requests there will be a big screen movie special, The Polar Express. Proceeds will go to helping the children and families of Crumlin who face such great challenges in their lives.HELIX PANTO - JACK AND THE BEANSTALK - BY THEATREWORX PANTOTheatreworX Productions return to The Helix this Christmas for yet another Giant Panto extravangaza with their hilarious adaptationof Jack and The Beanstalk. Come and join that loveable rogue Jack (Niall Sheehy) on his journey as he encounters Golden Eggs andBeanstalks and Giants, oh my! Panto favourites Eoin Cannon and Aidan Mannion return as Professor Ploncouer and his gormless sonHowaya to keep our Jack on his toes. The ever endearing and hilarious Buddy (Colin Hughes) will team up with the daddy-cool Mayor(Adam Lynch) to help our hero along the way. Dame Lola is back too in the form of Liam Butler who will be donning the lashes once again.The beautiful and very talented Orla Jennings joins the cast for the first time as Jill with Danielle Williamson completing the line-up as themagical Fairy Lily Rose.Due to last year’s success we will have a sensory friendly production of the pantomime. This adapted performance will take place onTuesday 22nd December 2pm which includes no sudden noises or bangs, softer and brighter lighting, and music at a suitable level. CHRISTMAS FILM - IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFEThe perfect way to get that Christmas Spirit. An angel Clarence helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman,George Bailey, by showing what life would have been like if he never existed. Will the prayers of Georges loved ones save him andresult in Clarence earning his wings?9 December - The Theatre, 7.30pm - €10: includes Mulled Wine/Hot Drink and Mince PieCHRISTMAS FILM - WHITE CHRISTMASDon’t miss the opportunity to see this Christmas classic on the big screen.  Having left the Army following W.W.II, Bob Wallace andPhil Davis team up to become a top song-and-dance act. Davis plays matchmaker and introduces Wallace to a pair of beautifulsisters (Betty and Judy) who also have a song-and-dance act. When Betty and Judy travel to a Vermont lodge to perform aChristmas show, Wallace and Davis follow, only to find their former commander, General Waverly, as the lodge owner. CHRISTMAS CRACKERSFollowing on from four successful years, Christmas Crackers will return to The Helix this December. Featuring The CanBeltoLadies Choir, YouFour, The Song and Dance Children’s Choirs, The Fingal Youth Choir. Soloists include Jimmy O’Byrne plus theSong and Dance kids, come along to a festive evening filled with Christmas carols and crooners for all the family. This concert isfull of your favourite songs such All I Want for Christmas Is You, O Holy Night, Carol of the Bells and Little Drummer Boy which willhave you singing along with the live band and the assembly of captivating choirs.
