Complete Fire Alarm Services Detector Sensitivity TestingOnce every two years, per NFPA requirements, our technician will perform acalibrated sensitivity test to assure that each detector is within its listed sensitivityrange and each detector will initiate an alarm when exposed to smoke of certainconcentrations. This test will be performed in conjunction with one of the semi-annual or annual tests of the fire alarm system. This service work meets NFPA 72and IDPH requirements. Inspection and Testing Fire DampersOur technician will test each fire damper, in accordance with 2007 NPFA 80. Thefusible links will be replaced and the old links will be collected and bagged for yourinspector, per IDPH requirements. The damper will be reset after testing. Uponcompletion of this work, you will receive a documentation indicating the location ofthe fire damper, or combination fire/smoke damper, date of inspection, name ofinspector and deficiencies discovered. You should maintain this documentation forreview by the authority having jurisdiction.
Fire Sprinkler SystemsInspection and Certification of Dry Sprinkler System Our technician will check dryvalve priming water level by opening the test valve and checking for a small amountof water to discharge. Then, after closing the water supply valve, the Inspector'stest valve will be opened to reduce air pressure slowly, operation of low-pressurealarm will be confirmed and air pressure will be recorded. Then, the devices andaccelerators will be tested, the low point drains will be drained (weatherpermitting), a trip test will be performed on the dry pipe valve and the airmaintenance device will be tested. Upon completion of this inspection, a FireSprinkler Certificate of inspection will be sent to you. This service work meetsNFPA 25 requirements.
Security & CCTV Systems Inspection and Certification of Security Alarm System Your business requires security to protect your assets. As a licensed alarm contractor, we service and inspect all security system equipment. Our technician will test all devices, clean and test motion or smoke detectors, load test the control panel backup battery, replacing the battery if necessary, update your emergency call list, and test the signal to the monitoring center. The Inspection Report and Certificate of Protection will be sent to you to forward to your insurance provider. Inspection and Service of Video Security System (CCTV)All system cameras are cleaned and tested for optimum protection. Digital recordingequipment is checked for proper functioning.
