With the pandemic still bringing uncertainty for 2022, we need to dig deep into our core strengths and resilience which we have demonstrated as a company over the years, to continue to succeed and overcome the odds we face daily. BYME is a unique company because of our staff and our passion to excel in what we do on our projects all over Hong Kong, with a diverse portfolio of clients. For 2022, lets work together closely than ever before, embrace teamwork, trust and most importantly stay safe and healthy. Awards & Recognition 2022 Jan | P. 7 November 2021 T2 Team MTR 1128 Team Best Safety Enhancement Program for Lifting Operation MTR 1128 Team Outstanding Lifting Operation Team in Occupational Safety and Health – Meritorious Award We are proud to share with you all that two of our staff, Mr. Fung Kam Hung & Mr. Ho Ka Leung received the “Outstanding Lif ting Operation Team in Occupational Safety and Health – Meritorious Award” at the 22nd Construction Safety Forum and Award Presentation Ceremony. Meanwhile, we also received two Certificate of Participation on “Best Safety Enhancement Program for Lifting Operation” in the project for T2 Trunk Road – Tunnel E&M & Building Services Installation and “Best Program for Work Safety in Hot Weather and Employees’ Health Protection” in the project for HBT LV Switchboard Upgrading. December 2021 Outstanding Performance in Safety Management (Runner-Up) For Shatin To Central Link Project For 2020 Congratulations to MTR1128 Team for winning the Subcontractor Safety Award from MTR Corporation in recognition of their outstanding performance in Safety Management(Runner-up) for Shatin to Central Link Project for 2020! Our Chairman, Mr. Patrick Iu, presented our own appreciation to the Team, recognising the achievements of our amazing employees.

P. 8 | BYME Newsletter Collaboration December 2021 BIM With HILTI Thank you Hilti Asia Pacific for providing a platform for us and our engineers to join this BIM program and share the ideas, knowledge and experience with other top-notch enterprises, including Jardine Engineering Corporation, WSP in Asia, and Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong. We went through different activities and worked together to demonstrate the best way of using HILTI’s BIM solution in different projects like Data Centre, Plantroom, and Hospital. A complete analysis on the saving in terms of cost, time and space will be evaluated and presented in the end of this program. Lecture Sharing on Decarbonisation Our senior Project Manager, Mr. Jeremy Stern, had the pleasure being a guest speaker in the online seminar \"Sustainable Lecture Series #3: The Decarbonisation Challenge\" with the topic on Energise The Future: Opportunities & Challenges From Smart Buildings to Waste- to-Energy, co-organised by PolyU and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong & Macau. He shared experience in the usage of the latest smart and green building technologies in our projects, meanwhile discussed new policy measures to accelerate the move of decarbonization in Hong Kong’s building sectors. Being a responsible E&M engineering company, we have been determined and taken actions to cut its carbon emission by at least 30% by 2030 --- together to give a hand in creating a sustainable world for our next generations.

2022 Jan | P. 9 Bouygues International Games Students from all over the world raised £23,763 for the benefit of the Bouygues Construction foundation “Terre Plurielle” during the intense 18 hours of non-stop live (business game, quizz, video conferences) in the BIG (Bouygues International Games) 2021, thanks to their energy, commitment and willingness! This year we have nominated our previous Part-time IT Assistant Jay Leung who is a year 3 student at the City University of Hong Kong. Among 8 teams of International Students, he and his team has won the championship and Jay has been awarded HK$5,000 cash coupon. THEY DID IT, YOU DID IT … WE DID IT!!!! We really did something BIG together!

P. 10 | BYME Newsletter CSR Activities Stand by you in Mid-Autumn Festival In cooperation with the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society and Hong Kong Christian Service, we distributed both 50 foodie bags provided mooncake, mask and noodles and biscuits to the elderly to celebrate Mid- Autumn Festival. Oxfam Rice Event 2021 Gathering all the support from all the staff, a total of 124 Oxfam rick packages were purchased to support Oxfam’s local and international projects on fighting against poverty, bringing hope to the farmers, grassroots and disadvantaged affected by the epidemic. 「 嘉」家有 福 Collaborating with Hong Kong Family Welfare Society again, a total of 80 foodie bags with a combination of Chinese sausages, masks and Oxfam food package were distributed to the elderly in Kowloon City Centre for Active Ageing, hoping to bring them good fortune and warmth for this winter.

2022 Jan | P. 11 Love to our team Christmas Gift to all our Staff Handmade chocolate from Hello Cocoa, which is a social enterprise that makes specialty chocolate with a mission to support the youths with special education need to earn a living independently, were purschased and given to all staff as Christmas Gift. Lunar New Year Gift to all our Staff A Chinese New Year gift package including different types of dried seafood and red envelopes have been prepared for all our staff, wishing them a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year with many precious moments with their loved ones.

BYWE Club 2022 Jan | P. 13 Scented Candle Workshop December 2021 After a long time of pandemic, BYWE Club finally organised the scented candle workshop on 3rd Dec 2021. Everyone had fun enjoying the 3-hour class and making their own scented candles to celebrate Christmas.
