Description: http://www.deschutesangler.com
Deep old growth rainforests covered in moss and ferns line the banks of the rivers we fish. The steelhead green water flows cold and clears up within a day or two after a hard rainstorm. The flies we fish are large and colorful and we use sink tips of various densities to get those flies down deep where the steelhead hold. Using a Spey rod will make easy work of casting heavy sink tips and weighted flies. For clients who don’t have a Spey rod, we will have rods available to use. After spending years on these waters, our guides know the rivers intimately. Let us share with you the magic of steelhead fishing the North Oregon Coast.
