Listen Through the Music STEP 1: There are 5 spots close to a Jukebox. Also, there are some coins and some headphones close to it. Please choose one spot and take a set of headphones with you. STEP 2: The participant in spot 1 (where the Jukebox is located) will be in charge of the coins. For the 1st attempt he/she should introduce one coin in the Jukebox. Now a set of sentences have been chosen for this first round. The first sentence from this set will be displayed in the Jukebox’ screen. The 1st participant should read and memorize this sentence before it disappears. Then, he/she should transmit this sentence to the 2nd participant while using the headphones. STEP 3: Now, the 2nd participant approaches the 3rd participant to try to communicate the sentence without leaving his/her spot and without taking the headphones off. This process continues until the sentence reaches the last participant, who can write the sentence on the whiteboard located in his/her spot. STEP 4: When the round is over, participants can take their headphones off and can meet close to the whiteboard, waiting for the operator to check if the sentences written by the 5th participant are similar to the ones provided by the Jukebox. If the operator states that the sentences are not similar enough you should start again from STEP 1 of this checklist.

Important Rules The phrase / sentence can only be spoken 2 times. (each participant has approx. 20 seconds to say the sentences, because at this point a curtain will be displayed between these participants). Remember that participants cannot remove their headphones until the round is over (with all the phrases written on the whiteboard). During the game if any participant gets to discover the song that is being used to play, they cannot say the name of the song or the artist to the other team members. This will significantly reduce the difficulty of the game. Therefore, you can only say what is shown on the Jukebox’s screen or the phrases that you have understood from your partner. Before starting a new round, you can discuss if you want to keep the same order for the participants or if you would like to change it. This is a group decision, so you can think about what is the best for the whole group. If you complete this part of the game successfully, you can proceed to part 2 of the game, which is explained in the list called.

Twisted Brain STEP 1: Now you can move to the panel next to the whiteboard and turn it on. STEP 2: In this panel a list of colors will be displayed. The idea of this game is to say the color of the words listed in the columns (don’t read the word). You have 10 seconds to finish the column that was assigned to you. If you fail you can press the bottom “NEW LIST” and you have another chance, but a different participant should try to complete the challenge this time. STEP 3: Once the challenge is completed successfully the radar of the submarine will be deactivated.
