GROUP 6Once upon a time, on a very cold winter night, there was a bar. The bar was empty exceptfor 4 people. The bartender was making coffee for a couple that looked lovely at first sight,so they could warm up. A mysterious man was sitting across, observing the couple. However, the couple did not notice anything…“What is the plan for tomorrow, Aspen?”“Be quiet, they might hear us. There is nothing to worry about, Brooke. I arrangedeverything. Henry will arrive at 10 pm at the Tipton Hotel. His wife is in Spain at themoment, so you can easily pursue him. With your looks it will not be a problem.”“I cannot believe I am actually about to go on a fake date with a bank owner. He is so old.”“It will be totally worth it, my dear. Look at the damage he has caused. We have losteverything because of him. The only way to get revenge is to kill him.”Despite the attempts to be quiet, the man across did hear the whole conversation.“I do not have a good feeling about us discussing this here, Brooke”, Aspen said anxiously.“You are right. We shall just finish our coffee and go back home.”The man paid, the woman picked up her fur coat and they left the bar. The heels of thewoman made a tapping sound as they walked down the sidewalk.“I have a feeling that we are not alone here, Aspen.”“In a bustling city like this you are never alone.”“That is not what I mean… I think we have been followed.”Brooke’s feeling was not just a sign of attentiveness. The mysterious man from the bar, named Mr. Montana, was only a couple of feet behind. He was the best bounty hunter intown and he had a plan.Group 6: Miss Gadaldi, Miss Guerini, Mr Kassi, Mr StefaniniThe two, in order to disorient the well trained chaser, took many secondary streets, movingaway from the main one; despite their continuous road changes, he could easily keepthem under his sight.Suddenly the twosome found themselves in a blind alley with the man behind.Grinning, he took out his pistol and, without hesitating, aimed at Brooke. Just one shot andBrooke fell to the ground hit in his chest. His life’s wire was cut by the sharp blades ofDeath’s scissors.Aspen incredulously knelt alongside her lover with so many tears in her veiled eyes thatshe didn’t realize the killer had disappeared.Huddled in Aspen’s embrace Brooke, with the last forces that he had in his body, pulledout of his pocket a little paper containing a code of numbers to decipher. The woman took it dazed listening sadly to Brooke’s last words:“Go on with what we’ve already started to do and finish it quickly! Remember, I love you!”Soon after the killing but before the police arrival, foretold by their shrill syrens, Aspen wasable to leave the murder site stealthily. She was a forty-year-old woman with dark long wavy hair and refined features whose bodystill reveals her firmness of when she was younger but it marks her pronouncedwomanhood as well.As she got home, she logged on the computer to look for some information for the code tocrack. After several searches she fell asleep without finding any solutions. The following morning, the ringtone of her telephone woke her up: it was Mark, theseventy-year-old banker with a long mustache with a refined passion for alcohol. He called
her in order to know the reason why, the evening before, she hadn’t turned up at theirappointment. She didn’t know how to reply so she hung up and decided to send him amessage to meet him at his place that evening .When she arrived Mark was waiting for her in his big house. He warmly welcomed Aspenand he offered her a shot of aged Brandy and a plentiful dinner; soon the womandistractedly asked where the bathroom was. When she got there, she closed the door with the key, she pulled out the little paper withthe code and indirectly asked her deceased love:“I wonder if the old man had already understood we are the protagonists of the secret…”Léo, Hugo, Charline, Bilel (FRANCE)PART 3When she went out of the bathroom, with her mind tougher than her determination, anoppressive silence filled the mansion. “Mark ?” shouted Aspen, while asking herself manyquestions, when suddenly, a fire shot resounded in the huge house. It was cold, Aspen was scared to death, walking slowly through the corridors, listening. She stopped abruptly in front of the dining room, and gazed at Mark's miserable andpathetic corpse. His death made her feel good, because he deserved it, but sheremembered that someone was surely roaming nearby. She was in danger - she knew it -when all of a sudden, the lights went out, leaving her alone in the dark.Well, not entirely alone.Luckily, Henry was supposed to pick her up in approximately 10 minutes. However, these10 minutes would seem endless. Her goal was to drug Mark while they were eating, tosteal the bank's key and go salvage the content of the famous locker, but the fact that hewas killed kind of helped her. She needed firstly to recover the keys, and then to flee, but apresence terrified her. The keys were supposed to be placed in Mark's room, located onthe first floor but using the stairs was too dangerous, she thought, however it was the onlyway. Slowly and quietly, she walked up the stairs, with the feeling that someone wasstaring at her.Arrived in the room, she found the keys on a shelf, but Aspen suspected something- it wasall too easy; the keys had been placed there conspicuously. While she was thinking, sheheard footsteps. Panicked, she threw herself out of the window, broke her leg when shelanded. She limped, suffering, trying to escape. She perceived Henry.Belgium: Yuna, Amber, Joke and Luna(Aspen is the boy and Brooke is the girl, we would really appreciate it if you could changethat.)Henry, who suddenly was their helper and not the bank owner anymore, stood behindAspen and said: \"Let’s get out of here, it's dangerous. Let's go to a restaurant.\" Thewoman followed Henry hopping in such a splitting pain because of her broken leg and theywent to a restaurant where Aspen ordered some spaghetti while Henry some Frenchbread. They were trying to enjoy their lovely meal so that Aspen could forget all aboutBrooke’s killing but certainly not her painful injury.Suddenly, they got caught up in the moment and Aspen choked in her spaghetti. What they didn't know was that Mr. Montana was sitting next to them and had everythingplanned.\"Nothing better than getting rid of a murder couple than by killing them myself\", he said.
Brooke had already been shot in the alley and now it was Aspen’s turn to smother with herfavourite food at her favourite restaurant. But now Henry wanted to take revenge.Group 6: Miss Gadaldi, Miss Guerini, Mr Kassi, Mr StefaniniHenry spent the following month looking for Mr. Montana. He discovered that the assassinwould hold a conference about fake news a week after, in the city’s university theatre. Hehad thought about everything perfectly: the murder weapon, how to kill the victim and eventhe monologue he would have done to the assassin before he could see the light letting hiseyes. It was the conference day. Henry was upset but prompted by the thirst for revenge. Hewas hiding under the roof of the theatre from which he could see the platform clearly.During the conference he continuously spinned the 9mm that he had bought for theoccasion. At the end of Mr. Montana’s speech he moved to his dressing room where he met Henry:“ Excuse me you must have entered the wrong room ... this is my reserved changingroom”''I was just waiting for you ... ''But unexpectedly, surprisingly Aspen opened the door behind which the 2 men werediscussing. The girl started to tell her story and said to him that her fake death had beenplanned with Mr. Montana since the beginning.Léo, Hugo, Charline, Bilel from France : PART 6''Yes, it's awkward, but there was a point, believe me!'' said Aspen to Henry, ''Someonewas spying on me, Montana told me about it, so I pretended to die to dodge anysuspicions''.''Was that really necessary?'' thought Henry, but interrogations weren't the most importantissues in the instant, because they still had an objective, a priceless goal to reacl. Well, right now, we can see a scene where two men were in a cabinet with one woman, a bitweird now that we think about it, so they mindfully decided to head toward the bank, because an expensive reward was nearby. While driving, some loud noises were heard bythe little team: they were sirens.''How?!'' shouted Montana, ''it's just bloody impossible, for God's sake, Aspen, where didyou fail that up?!''''What?! Me?! I'm sure that it's your fault, stop your bullsh*t right now Montana! Of courseit's your fault, spaghetti Montana, freaking spaghetti, nothing more stupid, you moron?''''Could you shut up, and let me drive, oh my Lord, where did we go so wrong? We had asimple plan but no, you two had to do whatever you wanted, like kids'' whispered Henry, who felt the biggest disappointment of his life crawling on his back, or maybe was it just his
sweat? The situation was pretty bad: they were arguing while tailed by the police, an escape planwould be a miracle. Suddenly the sound of an explosion resounded in the car, destroyingany arguing speeches. The police cars abruptly stopped their pursuit to be directedelsewhere by superior orders.''What is going on?'' asked Aspen''Wait, this explosion…'' retorted Montana''What is it, Montana?'' inquired Henry''Well I think it was from the bank''Thanks to the Police cars that had been directed elsewhere, the team could change theircar in a garage nearby, so that they headed to the bank, slowly and carefully. Montanawas right, the bank had blown up, partly. Aspen heard some police reports, apparently athief had stolen a lot of money, because the bank had been left unguarded.''Unguarded? Don't tell me that the police cars that were chasing us were the oneprotecting the bank?'' said Montana.''I suppose that those officers were the nearest to our position'' replied Henry, ''but still, it'squite strange. Is this just a coincidence? I hope so''''Here goes the latest news, guys, you won't believe it. Guess which locker exploded.'' saidAspen, who sounded angry in her tone.''No, it's impossible… Don't tell me that…'' whispered Henry. It was Marc's locker. Someone beat them.''How is it possible, we were the only ones knowing about our plan! Henry, Montana, myself and…'' said Aspen''And? Is there someone else you told our plan to?'' Montana asked furiously.''Brooke…''''Brooke? But he's dead, are you stupid or what!'' said Montana who lost hisshort-tempered patience.''Wait a second, are you sure that he was killed?'' asked Henry''Well, he was shot, then he stopped breathing, so I guess he was dead.''Have you ever read Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare? Maybe the most wellknown drama around here. Well, in this tragedy, Juliet having drunk a potion pretended tobe dead for Romeo’s love. A clever trick, isn't it? But in our story, and even in today'sworld, for some people, money surpasses love. A pitiful world, ain't it ?
