TASK #1 Create a poster slogan describing 21st Century Learning and Teaching. INSIGHTS I loved the brainstorming part of this individual activity. I felt challenged by the simple instructions given to us. It was awesome to see my core message is supported by my wild ideas. My creativity really shined in this assigned task for us. I enjoyed every moment making the contents of my work because I saw my future self and principles that I'll be practicing when the time comes I'll be called as a Teacher by profession. I couldn't forget how I smiled and explained to myself the meaning of every element present in my final output. Truly, it proved my vision in teaching that knowing the 21st Century Learning and Teaching Skills is exactly one's driving force towards a better future! Feb. 12, 2022 3

EXERCISE #1 Analytic and Holistic Rubrics INSIGHTS I made my first set of rubrics! How exciting this was and so fulfilling! We were asked to research first and study how they're made and unexpectedly, I crafted two Analytic rubrics and one Holistic rubric from scratch. I didn't expect to have produced good pairings of criteria and standards. I loved seeing the results of my deep and critical thinking for the parts of the rubrics matching my scoring and level scale to equate to a fair and effective guide in assessment. This happened so quickly in one sitting I was able to come up with an output. I'm so motivated and looking forward already on my practicing career as a teacher one day. There's always as first for everything! Feb. 24, 2022 4

EXERCISE #2 Specialized Rubrics INSIGHTS Following the discussion on Rubrics, we were tasked to create samples based on our specialization or major. In my case, as a BSED-ENG student, I picked relevant topics having activities that needs thorough and accurate guidance for the students. This challenged me more and helped me further my knowledge in creating rubrics. This exercise kept my interest high in wanting to perform assessment on students. I just made me feel that not only I'm a teacher who instructs but also as a guide who facilitates learning. This rubric-making activity gave me the much needed skills and knowledge going forward to academic teaching and schooling some day. Really helpful! Mar. 11, 2022 5

MIDTERM PROJECT Using GRASPS Design/Model INSIGHTS The concept of GRASPS, when I first heard it in our class, was very new to me. Serving as a detailed performance of understanding in authentic assessment, it made this easier to explain activities to students. In a few simple steps that includes clearly worded instructions, students will be able to create outputs of performances well enough because they're guided and aware of the necessary points in an activity. I, personally, would use this model in making assessments for my class as it simplifies both the teachers' and students' work in all aspects. With these design, I realized that there are so many methods a teacher can use to teach effectively and one of them is using the GRASPS Form. Apr. 2, 2022 6

MAJOR PROJECT Assigned Topic Presentation/Webinar: K - 12 Grading System INSIGHTS The day I've been waiting and preparing for so long, our group presentation / webinar. Although, everything was work-in-progress until the day itself of the the reporting, I did well as host and facilitator of our presentation. We had an invited guest speaker and agreeing to that was simply the best decision I've done for our group. Sometimes, being the unusual or different doesn't mean you're astray or far off, but in fact, your uniqueness speaks of your creativity, I realized this after our successful presentation. What an experience! I can still remember the feels before, during, and after our Webinar. Learnings and all from the lecture, I found enjoyment and pride in the work I've done for my group. Well done, Earl! May 17, 2022 7

SEMESTRAL REFLECTION Part Two is Best Too Starting with the review of the previous subject - ED 6, going from 21st Century Learning, Authentic Assessment, its tools, Rubrics, Product and Process Performance Assessments, GRASPS Designing, Portfolio, Grading and Reporting, up to the K-12 System, every lesson was worth listening and comprehending to. All that I learned are practical skills for application for my teaching career in the future. I am now equipped with the right tools as of my current level. I am hungry and eager for more knowledge in my field. Definitely, I will maintain a high level of motivation to continue acquiring such skills as I am determined to finish and become a Licensed Professional Teacher one day. In fact, I wasn't expecting this much from the subject - ED 7, at first, as I've thought it is only a mere continuation. I was wrong. I got more than what I wanted and I'm truly grateful for accepting everything that's been offered to me in this subject. Not only it enhance my capabilities but also it added more abilities to my repertoire in teaching. I cannot simply leave behind everything I've learned in this subject. I won't because I saw how important every bit of it and how it'll make a difference and an impact for my future students and for myself too, as a future educator. Very nice indeed! This is what I call Part Two being one of the best too in teaching. Repetition in instruction instills better understanding and comprehension to students. I, for one, am one of those who got struck by the imperativeness of the topics and they stayed with me until today and will remain for many years to come! May 21, 2022 8
