The goal of this project was to re-design Southern IllinoisUniversity Carbondale’s Saluki Stadium. The main requestsmade by the client included gameday lockerooms, moreseating space, and an increase in the number of boxes for useby the press, coaches, and fans, all of which were taken intoaccount with this design. A restuarant that can be utilized allyear round, a gameday gift shop, and an outdoor courtyard andpavilion are all included in the proposed development as well.SALUKI STADIUMProject: Redesigned SIU Football StadiumLocation: Carbondale, IllinoisDate: March 12, 2015Programs Used: Google Sketchup VRay for Sketchup Adobe Photoshop Autodesk AutoCAD01 Project 01/2

Project 02/1

Touch of Nature contracted SIU’s School of Architecture todesign and build a new outdoor Amphitheater for them. Ourentire class presented multiple designs to them and after onewas selected, the entire class managed different aspects of theproject, including cost analysis, construction documents, andthe eventual construction of the Amphitheater.TOUCH OF NATUREAMPHTHEATERProject: Redesigned Amphitheater at Touch of Nature-Location: Grassy, IllinoisDate: April 1, 201402 Project 02/2

When the construction process began, there were essentially two starting groups: One building a bench, located on the side of the path leading to the Amphitheater, and one that was constructing the Amphitheater itself. We worked on every phase of construction, from the demolition of the old stage to the installation of the new benches. The new stage ended up being several times larger than the old one. The seating capacity also increased as did its accessibility.Project 02/3

Project 02/4

The goal of this project was to design a new winery for theSouthern Illinois area while trying to fit in with the localArchitectural vernacular. This design includes a fully functioningwinery, cellars, event spaces, a restaurant, and a hotel. Oneof the main focuses of this particular design is its ability to beutilized all-year round, rather than only in the spring and summer.Because of this, the site also has a Christmas Tree Farm for thewinter months, and a Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchards forthe fall season.SERENITY VALLEYProject: Southern Illinois WineryLocation: Makanda, IllinoisDate: May 05, 2015Programs Used: Google Sketchup VRay for Sketchup Adobe Photoshop Autodesk AutoCAD Autodesk Revit03Project 03/1

This last section contains several of the computer-basedrenderings that I have created that were not present in previousproject’s spreads in this portfolio book. I made these renderingsfor a few of the other projects I worked on while at school. Thoseprojects as a whole did not end up being included in this versionof this Architectural Portfolio, but I wanted to include theserenderings as a display of my rendering abilities.RENDERINGSDate: March - November, 2015Programs Used: Google Sketchup VRay for Sketchup Adobe Photoshop04Project 04/1
