ABOUT SCHOOL Shree Bal Vinay Mandir, Chhatribagh is one of the oldest renowned and reputed institutions of Indore, run under aegis of Shree Cloth Brokers' Association Trust, Indore. It’s foundation was laid by late Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, contemporary Vice President of India in 1954. It has completed its voyage of 67 years and earned a name among the best schools of Indore. Shree Cloth Brokers’ Association trust is well known for its contribution in the field of education, health services and social welfare. Under the able guidance of Late. Padmashree Babulalji Patodi and his devoted team members this institution came into existence fostering intellectual, physical and spiritual development of young learners and groomed them to be committed and competent individuals. Upto the year 2000, it was a primary co-educational school and then onwards it was gradually upgraded and became a 10+2 higher secondary school, affiliated to M.P. Board of secondary education, Bhopal. From 2013 it has been affiliated to C.B.S.E. New Delhi. As an institution that has for the past 67 years remained steadfast in its efforts to provide quality education. The science laboratories are well equipped with all required apparatus and educational aids to impart practical knowledge to the students. Computers play a significant role in present modern world and our students are exposed to computer literacy from KG II onwards. We have two latest computer laboratories, one meant for juniors and the other meant for seniors. CO-SCHOLATIC ACTIVITIES For overall development of a child, co-scholastic activities play an integral part of learning. The students of each class are divided into four houses and various inter house activities are scheduled on the onset of the new session.

Play with Colours Artistic Skills The activities like vocal music, instrumental music dance, Art &Craft, drawing and painting are conducted in the class. Audio visual aids are also available for better teaching as well as for entrainment. SPORTS ACTIVITY Sports activities are conducted regularly under the able guidance of sports teachers. Outdoor as well as indoor games are provided. Every year our students have been selected to represent volley ball, soft ball, Basketball, Football, Martial Arts & Diving tournaments at state and National levels. HEALTH IS WEALTH TEACHERS' TRAINING The teachers at SBVM are provided extensive training programmes to keep themselves updated with the latest teaching methodology and given an opportunity to interact with well-known educationists of National and International level under the banner of COE, CBSE, New Delhi. Workshops and seminars are organized to enhance their knowledge and skills. AUGMENTATION PROGRAMME STUDENTS’ COUNCIL Every year the student's council is formed in the school. The purpose is to grab students, an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing & carrying out at school ACADEMICS:MORNING ASSEMBLY activities & service projects. The day at the school starts with morning assembly to concentrate all our positive energy to be successful in our endeavors throughout the day. The prayer starts with Saraswati Vandana, followed by Bhajans, National song, Patriotic songs and National anthem.
Every day the Principal and all the staff members attend the assembly. The Principal briefs the students about the school activities, makes important announcements and delivers motivational speeches to inculcate discipline and values among the students. All the important celebrations are highlighted by the students and the teachers to acquaint each student with the importance of the particular day's celebration. The achievers of different fields are appreciated in the assembly in front of all the students to recognize their work and motivate the other students to try to achieve something in their field of interest. The assembly is concluded by singing National anthem. PRE PRIMARY CLASSES We follow Montessori technique of teaching, where the child is made to learn in a fearless, congenial environment in an informal way. The stress is given on activity oriented teaching instead of teacher based teaching, which has been proven to develop the five senses of the youngsters. More of activities are designed for them to grasp the concepts in a better way. They learn by doing. Due importance is given to cultural activities like Music, Dance, Skits and Action. Drawing, Clay and Paper work are given to make them relaxed. Audio-visual aids are provided to keep them entertained. Every child is treated as a unique individual. OTHER CLASSES (I TO XII) We follow New Education Policy 2020 where child is taught by practicals and experiential learning. Regular class tests are conducted after completion of each chapter. The students are encouraged to do various activities to understand the concepts. Students are regularly taken to the Science, Maths and computer laboratories. Regular PTMs are held for all the students regularly. It is compulsory to attend all the tests and examinations of the academic session. After the examination, the answer sheets and the report cards are handed over to the parents. Regular counseling is done by the teachers and the principal. It is compulsory for the parents to attend the PTM.
ENRICHMENT OF STUDENTS MODE OF ADDMISSON Streams Available in the school Curriculum (Classes XI and XII) SBVM welcomes the children seeking admission from Nursery to IX & XI children. They must fulfill Science Stream Commerce Stream the minimum age requirement as on 30th June of the year in which admission is being sought. Compulsory Subjects: Compulsory Subjects: NURSERY English Core , Physics , English Core , Chemistry The minimum age acceptable for admission in , Mathematics / Accounts , Business Nursery is 2 ½ years + as on 1st April of the year. Note: Admission to Nursery is granted, subject to Biology. Studies, Economics condition that the child is able to speak and understand Hindi preferably in English. Optional Subjects: Optional Subjects: Informatic Practices, Informatic Practices, KG – I Physical Education, Physical Education, Hindi Hindi, Entrepreneurship Minimum age 3 years 6 months as on 1st April of year. NOTE KG – II 1) Admission is granted on the basis of number of seats available . In such matters , the decision of the Principal remains final. Minimum age 3-4 years 6 months as on 1st April of year 2) Admission tests are conducted the basis of syllabus taught in the previous class. CLASSES I 3) Application form provided along with prospectus must be filled Minimum age 5 years 6 months & so on. in all respects before submission for registration. CLASSES II TO IX & XI 4) Registration in any way does not ensure admission. 5) Students must appear in entrance test on the specified date Admission is granted on the basis of subjective knowledge of students & general awareness along otherwise registration will deemed to be cancelled. 6) Fee has to be deposited within stipulated period, failing which, with the required documents. selection for admission might be treated as cancelled. MODE OF PAYMENT DOCUMENTS • The school fees is taken in four installments in the session. The following documents are to be submitted along with fee before joining the school: • If the installment is not paid in due time the student’s name will be struck off from the roll. 1) Photographs : Two passport size photographs of student. 2) Birth Certificate ; Birth certificate duly issued by Muncipal Corporation. 3) Transfer Certificate : Original Transfer certificate of previous school, duly counter signed by D.E.O. in case of M.P.
