Activus News January/February 2023 Edition You asked and we listened. In order to streamline our systems and make paying your bills easier we are going ‘Cashless’ in 2023. We will do this by transitioning all cash customers to a direct debit facility over the coming months. A direct debit facility simply means a more convenient way to pay your account. Rather than paying cash to the driver, you will receive an invoice from us on the first of the following month after your transport. Then on the 15th of each month, our bank will deduct from your account the amount of your invoice. Please be assured the process is secure and our bank will only ever have the authority to deduct the amount of your invoice. If there is a dispute regarding the invoiced amount, we can easily rectify the issue. This saves you and Activus handling and processing cash. There is NO cost to you for the direct debit. You can stop the direct debit arrangement at any time by calling us and providing fourteen (14) days’ notice. This direct debit system will save us money and administration time and of course it’s a simpler way for you to pay – no more having to find cash on the day. If you already pay your account by depositing the amount directly into our bank account, that option will still be available as well as our current credit card options. Just4Blokes T 4 BLOK The inaugural overnight J4B trip to Canberra was a fabulous success. JUS Tony and Chris delivered the adventure and took 20 men to the ACT ES for a very special and momentous visit to the War Memorial. ES JUS The entire package of travel, accommodation, meals, guided tour and T 4 BLOK sightseeing expedition was organised with great care by Tony and was enjoyed by all who were lucky enough to attend. We had many more people interested in going than we were able to take this time. The pictures enclosed speak volumes! Keep an eye out for more trips in the bi-monthly calendars throughout the year and book in quickly so you don’t miss out. “I take this opportunity to congratulate you on making the 1st ever overnight trip to Canberra a roaring success. The trip to the War Museum and laying of the wreaths at the fountain of remembrance by some of us lucky ones, including myself, Tony and others was the highlight of the trip. The stopovers and lookouts sites and other sceneries were great. Also the trip to Parliament houses.” -- Haroon
