What is Liberty? Liberty is the ability to maintain free will without restrictions given from an authority unless you affect someone else’s freedom by breaking the law.
Some Examples of Liberty 1. Freedom to say what you desire. 2. Right to a fair trial. 3. Freedom of religion. (All other civil liberties) ● Women got their liberty to vote in 1920 once the 19th amendment was ratified.
What is Egalitarianism? Egalitarianism is the idea of giving all people the same starting points so that they have equal opportunities despite race and other differentiating factors.
Some Examples of Egalitarianism 1. The ability to attend public school. 2. Choice of choosing a career. 3. Choice of controlling one’s environment. One of Locke's most famous quotes is \"All mankind... being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions.\"
What Is Individualism? Individualism is the idea of being independent and self-reliant. Also, it is based on the individual person instead of a group.
Some Examples of Individualism 1. The ability to practice any religion. 2. Supporting yourself financially. 3. The government allowing citizens to be responsible their own retirement, instead of relying on social security.

Some Examples of Populism 1. In the United States the term was applied to the program of the Populist Movement, which gave rise to the Populist, or People’s, Party in 1892. 2. The tea party movement which exposed excessive taxation and government intervention. 3. The Know nothings were one of the first populist parties in 1849 that used the beliefs of white Christian supremacy to seize power over minority populations.
What is Laissez-Faire? 1. A homeowner can choose that they plant in their yard without having to get permission from the government. 2. Prices of goods are determined by supply and demand. 3. Business owner gets the end profit or loss from the business salesman.
