The Difference Between HS & Club We believe there is nothing that compares to the High School Soccer Experience. ● We have our own stadium ● We represent our school & community ● Your peers & teachers will come and watch your games ● The press follows high school athletics ● Numerous opportunities for postseason recognition ● Daily practices ● Qualified Coaching Staff that value the individual and their development as young men and not just a soccer kid. ● Parents are part of the team. ● Coaches care ● Academics are valued
The Difference Between HS & Club The Tarpon Soccer program encourages our players to compete at the competitive level. We encourage our players to look to improve their game and their skill level. If we want to achieve a higher level of performance as a high school team, we need knowledgeable and skilled players. Our goal is to build relationships with the club teams our athletes play for. Understand the high school season is very short and when you choose to play, you are committing to this team. We practice weekly from 2:45 - 4:30 pm. We have very few weekend events - you receive that schedule in advance. Any questions or concerns - please communicate with Coach Winkler or Dotres.
Parental Responsibilities ● Support all players, coaches, CHS ● Fundraising ● Help where needed and where you have a talent or interest ● Be a double-goal parent (see parent guide) ● Read through the parent guide and sign parental agreement on the last page. ● Be proud of our program and support our mission to mold and develop good soccer players as well as quality young men.
