WELCOME BACK WWW.R Have the best school year ever! We were extremely happy to welcome all our wonderful students back to school. We were thrilled to see their smiling faces and having a fun time learning, exploring and enjoying all the activities planned for them. Coming back to school is a reason for celebration because it means a new step forward towards a wonderful future.

VAN MAHOTSAV The entire week from July 1st - 7th July was dedicated to commemorate the Van Mahotsav Festival to spread the awareness towards the preservation of Nature and its importance to maintain a balanced ecological system. Various quizzes were held and a plantation drive was taken up by the kids to befriend the saplings ,trees ,flowers and they pledged to carry the cause forward. GURU PURNIMA Guru is the dispeller of Darkness, who leads into the world of knowledge and wisdom. The kids have an impressionable mind. They are the future of our country, so they are always taught to follow the path of righteousness with courage and compassion. They paid their respect to their mentor and later participated in activities to showcase the need of a Guru in the lives of all of us.

LITERACY DAY & BOOK FAIR Literacy Day is held every year to raise awareness about the importance of reading and trying to motivate more children to be literate. We therefore combined Literacy Day by holding a BOOK FAIR in our school. Opening a book can transport readers to many worlds ------- real or fabricated. Reading is just awesome! Kids learn new ideas and imagine themselves in both real and fictional characters. Reading broaden imagination, develops writing, exercises the brain, expands the vocabulary, increases knowledge, improves concentration and reduces stress. Our little children took great interest in the Book Fair. A renowned author took a Reading Session with all the children. Children purchased many books of their choice, with a message “Make Reading a Regular Habit”.

TIGER DAY Kids are a reservoir of talent, they exhibited the same while on a voyage of creating awareness for Save Tiger- Save Wildlife.. the theme which was close to the heart of the children and for which they had participated in the Inter-class Debate to establish the importance of Tigers & to maintain the ecological system... Tiger being the National Animal and our pride holds a special place in our hearts and they all pledged to take up the cause further through various mediums. INCREDIBLE INDIA With its ancient and diverse stunning contrasts and breathtaking natural beauty-- India is a land of endless variation. India has a mixture of culture, regions, traditions, diversity in food, languages and also one of the biggest Democratic Countries. India is incredible because of its beautiful mountains, lakes & monuments and a Land of numerous festivals with cosmopolitan cuisines. We are Proud of Our Incredible India.

WORLD TOURISIM DAY World Tourism Day is held on 27th September every year. It raises awareness of the need for accessible tours in all over the planet. The theme for this year World Tourism Day is “Tourism & Green Investments.” In year 2023 middle east is hosting the day and the agenda is for sustainable development. The reason for World Tourism Day is to cultivate and create awareness among the society globally on the significance of Tourism and its social, political, financial and also cultural worth & value. NUTRITION WEEK Sharing is caring, a beautiful phrase which has an in-depth meaning: that is when we share, our joys multiply, when we care our happiness knows no bound. Children enthusiastically participated in fulfilled activities of making sandwiches, shakes, snacks and many more delicious food items. They enjoyed the break time by sharing the delicacies with their friends.

MONTESSORI ACTIVITIES Children enjoying Montessori method of education where they are seen involving in things of their natural interests. It helps them to develop and master essential skills. Once they attain these creative learning skills it helps them in learning not only in school but also in life. Self confidence is the main aspect.

SPORTS DAY Sports is an integral part of the school curriculum. We dedicated an entire week from 22nd August - 28th August to the field of National & International Sports. The week was divided amongst different age groups of children playing and learning rules & regulations of major games. The overall intention of the sports week was to let children know the importance of fitness and to learn life - skills of self discipline and team spirit.

ONCE A UPON A TIME NARRATION PUPPET SHOW Kids exhibited their c onfidence with great enthusiasm on this theme being part of their curriculum. Students presented interesting stories, dressed up as real characters from the chosen stories. They enacted the stories, sang songs and danced in the presence of their parents. This was a treat to their parents who appreciated and thanked the students and teachers for their efforts.

RAKSHA BANDHAN A pious festival to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters, a beautiful bond in which the sister ties the Rakhi to her brother, the family comes together to celebrate it with great joy. Children participated in creative art, made Rakhis for the occasion which led them to understand the bond of Raksha Bandhan. GANESH CHATURTHI Lord Ganesha is worshipped all over India and it’s a 10 day long festival celebrated with great fervour. At Vivek Summit, children participated in clay moulding and collage making activity to mark the festive occasion. Children also enjoyed drawing on the canvas; the portrait of Lord Ganesha.

INDEPENDENCE DAY Every Year we celebrate our Independence to pay our tribute to the freedom fighters to acknowledge their selfless contribution to the Indian Freedom Struggle. The tiny tots in their tri - colour attires set the stage on fire by presenting a March Past dressed as three armed forces personnel's Army, Navy, Airforce which was followed by a cultural fiesta portraying their Nation as One. It is rightly summarized in the beautiful Quote of Sri. Rabindranath Tagore - \" Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high\".

UNITY IN DIVERSITY Unity in Diversity is very useful for a diverse country. The concept allows people of different religions, cultures to live together. The students of Vivek Summit School performed role plays on Unity in Diversity, spoke quotes & made posters etc.

FUN ACTIVITIES WITH F.E.I.T All children are creative and every child`s genetic intelligence grows proportional to the available academic and other opportunities. Therefore \"Foundation Education in Technology\" guarantee’s a kick start to have a wonderful technological future.

DUSSEHRA A grand event to celebrate Dussehra was organised with high spirit. Children participated in the dance drama to execute the portrayal of the Epic- Ramayana, kids played their roles with proper deliverance of dialogues, props were used and costumes were apt as per their roles. The Dance Drama comprised of the kids with colourful attire and songs to perform. They were trained for their expressions and dialogues, which added a charm of their own. The act was so well received by the audience. It was much appreciated and applauded.

GRANDPARENTS DAY A day to mark the invaluable contribution of values to the future generation by the loving Grannies and Grandpas. They have an indispensable presence in the lives of the little ones. Kids expressed their gratitude and respect towards them by acknowledging their contribution. A colourful extravaganza was organised for the occasion. Kids and grandparents participated and enjoyed a lot, which made the day a memorable one. A beautiful act was executed which won the hearts of all the grandparents in the audience.

CARNIVAL & FUN DATE With the effervescent spirit of joy and togetherness, the powerfully charged team of Vivek Summit School organised a magnificent Downtown carnival. Adoring the school with spectacular embellishments and colourful drapes, Vivek Summit truly transformed into a festive Winter Wonderland. The joyous celebrations began with a cheerful welcome from the most beloved Disney characters – Mickey and Minnie, who made each member of the Vivek Summit School family feel loved and acknowledged with their warm smiles. The well – crafted design of the carnival gave each child and their family members to truly embrace the child within them. The fun zone had multiple intricate stations including activities such as ring the target, shooting stations, bouncy castle, feed the clown, magnetic fishing, billiard table, gym, table tennis, dance & yoga was a super duper Hit. The joyous laughter of the children filled the room as they enjoyed each of the activities. Kindering the spirit of adventure, an exciting maze of steppers, tunnels, and barriers along with a ‘Hunt for the Dinosaur’ station was created. The charming smiles and exhilarating laughter of children truly radiated the essence of delight that team Vivek Summit`s Downtown carnival aimed to create.



INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY At Vivek Summit we instill in the minds of our kids the need of a peaceful world. International day of peace was observed on 21st September 2022. Children performed various activities. They made well crafted 'pigeon' which is the symbol of peace and kids promised to be peace ambassadors. HINDI DIWAS A programme organised to help children understood the importance of Hindi language being the national language of India. Children conducted a special assembly to showcase the splendour of the language in the country. Children presented Hindi Poetry & the Kavi Samelan stole the show. The programme encouraged each child to inculcate respect for their mother language.

KRISHNOTSAV On 18th August to mark the pious occasion of Janmashtami all the children were geared up to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna. It was a joy to see the little Krishnas and Radhas dressed up in traditional clothes, all ready to give their performances on stage. Geeta updesh an enactment of the scene from the battle ground of Mahabharata was showcased followed by captivating skits, story narrations, dances & songs etc. Beautiful craft – work of students was also displayed in the form of flutes, matki`s, wall hangings etc. The students were applauded by the parents who were invited as guests to the school. Making the memorable for everyone.
