TMS GR. NOIDA CBSE TRAINING SESSION Recently, CBSE, the biggest board in India, announced that going forward, board exams will include 50% competency- based questions to test the analytical & application skills of students. As a school with a futuristic vision, and before the onset of the 2023–24 session, we organised a training session with an expert, where our educators discussed best question- making practises, evaluated different kinds of questions, and mastered rating techniques.​ \"CHANGEMAKER'S CANVAS\" Creative expression inside & beyond the classroom gives students the opportunity to think critically about the world, articulate their feelings and thoughts, and practise visual communication. \"Changemaker's Canvas,\" an important component of our enrichment programme, creates a platform for our learners to brainstorm and collectively present their thoughts on a social issue or cause in a systematic manner RAZ-PLUS: ORIENTATION SESSION One of the most sought-after 21st-century skills, reading comprehension ensures mastery of subject content & aids in building academic skills in students. Keeping this in mind, The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, organised an online RAZ Plus parent orientation session in association with our academic partner Learning A-Z. It helped our parents understand the benefits of age-appropriate reading and implement the levelled reading programme to develop the skillset in children beyond classrooms.​ PAGE -1

TMS GR. NOIDA EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, celebrated the occasions with a special assembly. Students put together beautiful group dance, skit, and music performances. The morning ended with 'words of wisdom' by our students, teachers, and respected principal & our display boards turned a bit more livelier with 'save earth' posters designed by budding artists in the visual arts class. ENGLISH WEEK CELEBRATIONS The Millennium School, Greater Noida West with the aim to polish the linguistic skills of students and enhance their communication skills. Educators took this opportunity to plan engaging activities like 'Guess The Proverb,' 'Story Weaving,' 'Jam-Ham,' 'Caption it funny,' 'Authors at work,' etc. INTERACTIVE, IN-SCHOOL WORKSHOP TITLED \"MY ACT OF HEART The Millennium School, GNW, hosted an interactive, in-school workshop titled \"My Act Of Heart,\" led by Ms. Anjali G. Sharma (Charter for Compassion), which aimed at cultivating compassion for oneself and others, using storytelling and open discussions as tools. The workshop created a platform for our learners to face their fears & insecurities. Our students talked about their vulnerabilities with their friends & mentors, reflected on their experiences, and understood the significance of practising & modelling compassion in their daily lives. The workshop was conducted as a part of \"Karma,\" our community outreach programme that focuses on making a positive difference in the world! ​ PAGE -2

NOIDA MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATIONS Mother's Day celebration at The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, was a blast, with our teachers and little ones presenting their best on-stage performances dedicated to our Millennium moms. The event witnessed chit-chat over coffee, loud applause, beaming faces, bright smiles, and a vibrant display of happy emotions. With this, we hope to spread cheer and positive vibes all across the world. VISIT TOP 'GOONJ' Our students visited the Goonj Processing Plant in Sarita Vihar, New Delhi, to hand over the toys, books, stationery items & clothes collected during the 'Donation Drive' run by The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, earlier this year. Initiatives like these are a part of 'Karma' - our community outreach programme that focuses on modelling and inculcating positive values (like empathy, compassion, helpfulness, etc.) in students through service learning. It gives them an opportunity to make a positive difference to society by exercising their 'design thinking' skill. INTERACTIVE, IN-SCHOOL WORKSHOP TITLED \"MY ACT OF HEART At The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, we believe that \"Inclusive Education\" - the practise of teaching children from various backgrounds in the same classroom, irrespective of their cultural differences, learning challenges, or personal disabilities, is the key step towards promoting unity in diversity.Keeping up with this thought, our special educator, Ms. Priya Bisht, conducted a session on \"The best inclusive teaching practises for students struggling with various disabilities (like autism)\" to help our teachers practise inclusion in classrooms.​ PAGE -3

NOIDA ROBUST STEAM CURRICULUM When students are armed with new-generation skills like design thinking, analysis, reasoning, etc., they can effectively address important social issues around them, brainstorm ideas, and collaborate with other groups to find sustainable solutions. Our robust STEAM curriculum includes plenty of interactive & application-based activities that focus on innovation, scientific temperament, digital empowerment, and critical thinking to empower learners and prepare them for future challenges. 5 MINUTE READING CHALLENGE Class V B students accepted the 5 minutes reading challenge during their library period. Students were provided with India Today magazines, they explored the relevant topic, read well and shared the information among other students. This activity helped students to think out of the box, discover different topics and make others informed well. FELICITATION CEREMONY:AVID READERS Atharv Gupta of class III-A & Jai Mukh of class IV-A were felicitated with 'Avid Reader' certificates for the month of April 2023 during morning assembly. PAGE -4

NOIDA 'STORYTELLING SESSION' & 'BOOK BOOM' It is said that \"A child who reads grows into an adult who thinks!\" Reading develops good vocabulary, comprehension, reasoning & logical analysis—skills that are most sought-after by employers at the workplace. To foster an early habit and love of reading in learners, The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, organised a 'Storytelling Session' & 'Book Boom' (book fair) where students explored their favourite genres and grabbed some interesting titles for summer reading. 'SUMMER SOIREE'-FOUNDATIONAL WING At The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, we believe in making childhood memorable for our little ones every day because when children feel happy and loved, they thrive & grow up to become emotionally strong and healthy adults. In line with this thought, we hosted a 'Summer Soiree' for the Foundational Wing. The little ones beat the summer heat with their friends by splashing around in the pool. SPTM (STUDENT PARENT TEACHER MEETING) Positive parent-teacher connections have been shown to improve students' academic achievement, social competencies, and emotional well-being. Before the school broke out for the summer break, we organised a SPTM (Student Parent Teacher Meeting), wherein our educators updated the parents in detail about their child's academic progress, discussed any learning challenges, and set goals for the future. Our super- excited little ones, showed off their best work on display in the classroom, enthusiastically collected their holiday homework, and bid adieu to their teachers. PAGE -5

NOIDA TMS 'DISTRICT-LEVEL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP The Millennium School, Greater Noida West, is proud of the fantastic performance delivered by our students at the 'District-level Taekwondo Championship Gautam Buddha Nagar 2023' that was held on Friday, April 28th, at Noida Stadium. Our little achievers bagged 4 Gold medals, 9 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals. Congratulations to all the winners! We wish you all the best for your future endeavours! 1ST NATIONAL INTER DISTRICT SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 Master Devansh Patel won the bronze medal in the 500-metre race at the 1st National Inter District Skating Championship 2023! We would also like to applaud the superb efforts of Master Yash Chaudhary, who qualified for the quarterfinals in the rink 500-metre race at the same event! PAGE -6

TMS GR. NOIDA STATE-LEVEL TRADITIONAL DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP Another proud moment for The Millennium School, Greater Noida West! Miss Anvi Maurya of Grade 1A, who participated in a state-level traditional dance championship, stood second. She has also been selected for the national-level dance round, which will be held in Goa on May 20th. Heartiest congratulations to our little twinkle toe. NATIONAL BRAINOBRAIN COMPETITION 2023 Congratulations to Miss Swara Srivastava of grade 1-C for winning the title of \"Gold Topper\" at the National Brainobrain Competition 2023 held in New Delhi. We are so proud of your achievement, little one! May you continue to win more laurels in the future!​ 'NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF ROLLER SKATING 2023' Congratulations Master Devansh Patel for consistently delivering marvelous performances in skating and bagging 1 gold as well as 1 bronze medal in different events at the 'National Championship of Roller Skating 2023'. Your relentless endeavours to enhance your skills have made you a national-level champion today!
