Vertical Form Products The Single –sided Formwork system is a simple solution for single- sided walls of different heights. In case placing panels face to face is not possible and thus Tie rods cannot be used, the concrete pressure has to be withstood by additional external structures. ULMA has two types of single –sided formwork supports depending on the wall height: Walers UCAB and Trusses EUC. These systems are compatible with ULMA’s vertical formwork systems. UCAB Walers provide solutions for walls at a maximum height of 3.3 M. EUC Trusses are combined to reach the required wall height above 3.3 M. Connection between panel and truss is quickly and easily done with Single –sided Formwork Systems heads. Besides, the trusses must be anchored to the ground by rods previously embedded in the foundation. Once assembled, each set of panels and trusses can be lifted and moved to the required pouring locations.
