Gamasid mites • Live in a wide range of terrestrial ecosystems • Almost all are predators • Small arthropods • Arthropod eggs • Nematodes • A few are parasitic mites



Gamasid mites • Very small (0.12 mm. long) to large (4 mm.) mites with a pair of stigmata openings above legs III-IV
