The aim of the course is to provide mature students with a route into higher education at university or college and is the equivalent of two to three A Levels. The course takes one year to complete if studied full time, or two years part time. These skills are useful in a range of settings if you are considering a career in counselling. They can also enhance your listening and helping skills for use in everyday life.
