ADMISSION IN CLASS II & Above Total 31 applications received for class XI and all are admitted as on date. There was only one vacancy in class VIII and no vacancies in remaining classes. Received 4 applications for class VIII. Conducted lottery for the one vacant seat as per the guidelines and selection process has been completed. Enough precatuions have been taken during offline lottery keeping in view of prevailing covid-19 situation in Kurnool.
STEPS ADOPTED FOR ADMISSION PROCESS IN COVID -19 ➢ALL NECESSARY INFOMRATION IS DISSEMINATED THROUGH WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA OR SMS . ➢ONE EMAIL ID IS CREATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR RESOLVING QUERIES OF PARENTS AND RECEIVING APPLICATION & NECESSARY DOCUMENTS. ➢ REGULAR MONITORING OF THE EMAILS AND SPONTANEOUS REPLIES ARE MADE TO PARENTS ON THEIR QUERIES. ➢ADMISSION COMMITTEE ISS FORMED AND THEIR CONTACT NOS AND EMAILS ARE PROVIDED FOR PARENTS TO CONTACT IN CASE OF ANY QUERIES. ➢DULY FILLED IN APPLICATION FORMS AND DOCS ARE OBTAINED THROUGH EMAIL AND CHALLANS ALOS SENT THROUGH EMAIL TO PARENTS TO AVOID PHYSICAL VISIT TO VIDYALAYA.
PLANNING OF TIME TABLE FOR ONLINE CLASSES ➢OBTAINED INPUTS FROM PARENTS OF BOTH PRIMARY AND SECONDARY STUDENTS FOR PREPARATION OF TIME TABLE FOR ONLINE CLASSES. ➢ ON LINE CLASSES FOR IX TO XII ARE PLANNED DURING 8.30 TO 12.10 AND FOR CLASSES VI TO VIII ARE PLANNED FROM 12.30 ONWARDS . ➢ SO THAT THOSE STUDENTS WHO HAVE SIBLINGS CAN ALSO TAKE PART IN ONLINE CLASSES REGULARY WITHOT ANY PROBLEM. ➢ MODIFICATION TO THE TIME TABLE ARE DONE SO THAT EACH SECTION’S CLASS IS TAKEN SEPERATELY BY TEAHCERS. ➢ SO THAT THE ATTENDANCE IS INCREASED IN CLASSES AND MONITRONG OF CLASS HAS BECOME EASY FOR TEACHERS/PRINCIPAL/HM.

ALTERNATIVE ACADEMIC CALENDAR BY NCERT AND REVISED ACADEMIC CURRICULUM BY CBSE FOR CLASSES 9 TO 12. ➢SOFT COPY OF AAC DESIGNED BY NCERT IS PROVIDED TO ALL THE STAFF AND STUDENTS FOR REFERENCE. ➢REVISED ACADEMIC CURRICULUM BY CBSE PROVIDED AND DISCUSSED WITH CONCERNED TEACHERS. ➢TEACHERS ARE INSTRUCTED TO STRICTLU FOLLOW AAC AND THE SAME IS BEING SUPERVISED BY PRINCIPAL.
INNOVATIVE STEPS BY VIDYALAYA TO ENSURE LEARNING ESPECIALLY FOR STUDENTS NOT HAVING INTERNET CONNECTIVITY • TIMETABLE PREPARED AS PER GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE CLASSES. • ATTENDANCE OF STUDENTS IN ONLINE CLASSES INCREASED WHEN COMPARED TO JULY. • EVERY INDIVIDUAL PARENT CONTACTED PERSONALLY OVER PHONE AND REQUESTED TO PROVIDE DEVICE AND CONNECTIVITY TO STUDENTS. • STUDENTS WITH LIMITED ACCESS TO DEVICE ARE ATTACHED TO STUDENTS AT NEIGHBOURHOOD. • XEROX COPIES OF STUDY MATERIAL PREPARED FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE NEEDY. • ARRANGEMENTS MADE TO SEND MATERIAL BY POST TO STUDENTS NOT HAVING DEVICE AT ALL.
SUPERVISION OF ONLINE CLASS ➢ONE OR TWO ONLINE CLASSES PER DAY ARE OBSERVED IN PRIMARY BY THE HM/PRINCIPAL. ➢TWO ONLINE CLASSES PER DAY IN SECONDARY ARE OBSERVED BY THE PRINCIPAL. ➢NECESSARY SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF CLASSES ARE GIVEN TO TEACHERS ON REGULAR BASIS. ➢CLASS OBSERVATION BY AC AND DC AT RO LEVEL. ➢WEEKLY / FORTNIGHTLY/ MONTHLY ONLINE ASSESSMENTS BEING CARRIED OUT TILL COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM SCHEDULE GIVEN BY KVS (RO).
UTILISATION OF INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ONLINE CLASSES ➢Staff members are using Google meet and Zoom online platforms to conduct online classes. ➢The link for the classes is being shared in advance so as to avoid any delay in conduct of class. ➢Schedule of classes on Swayam Prabha channel are shared in advance so that students will watch the same and attend the class. ➢All the staff members are using adequate online resources such as Swayam Prabha channel , DIKSHA app and YouTube etc. to the students who have partial or no facility of smartphone etc. ➢GSUITE IDS provided by RO are shared and sr secondary students are attending classes through google class room
UTILISATION OF INFRASTRUCTURE FOR ONLINE CLASSES ➢Adequate IT infrastructure is provided for teachers who are willing to take classes from vidyalaya. ➢ BSNL Borad band speed has been upgraded to meet the requirements for conduct of online classes. ➢Web cameras and Headphones are purchased and given to staff to ensure smooth conduct of online classes. ➢Online conferences are being conducted from time to time to all the teachers to make the best utilisation of technology for online classes. ➢Computer instructor is appointed to assist the teachers in effective conducting of online classes.
ONLINE PTM ➢Two parent teacher meetings have been conducted so far to discuss various issues related to online classes and to provide the smartphone and internet facility to the child. ➢Parents have been briefed regarding the significance of online classes and told regarding the possibility of teaching through online only for this session. ➢Those who have no/limited facility of smartphone and internet due to economical problem are advise to provide free dish facility to show swayamprabha channel or recorded lesson in the evening time. ➢Teachers also instructed to provide the printed copy of worksheets to parents or to create a platform where class-wise/chapter-wise/lesson-wise work sheet can be made available to the students.

Infrastructure Facilities made available for online classes – 10 e-classrooms – 06 webcams – 2 Apple iPads – LAN & wi-fi facilities made available. Speed of internet plan upgraded to 20MBPS – 03 more wi-fi access points ordered to provide wi-fi facility to all e-classrooms in addition to available wired internet – 6 green/white boards made available – Allotted each room to a teacher – Now everyone teaching from home as security guard tested positive
Monitoring attendance of online Classes ❖ Normal level of attendance in Online classes ❖ Classes II to V : 55% to 60% ❖ Classes VI to IX : 60% to 65% ❖ Classes X & XII : 95% to 100% ❖ What’s app groups for each section further strengthened . Mobile numbers have been added/deleted by the Class teachers. Help desk has been created to contact & counsel parents regularly ❖ Almost 40 to 50 Parents have been contacted everyday through Helpdesk and some of them procured mobiles. ❖ Monitoring two classes every day and ensuring H.M I/C monitor one class a day .
Targets set for 2020-21 ➢ Be among Top 5 schools at KVS RO level in terms of 10th & 12th CBSE board results ➢ To bring on board all students to online classes ➢ Developing online testing & evaluation during COVID-19 period ➢ Testing and evaluation starts in August as per the schedule given by KVS RO, Hyderabad . ➢ Effective implementation of alternative Academic Calendar ➢ Promotion of online sporting activities& cultural activities

Measures Taken for absentees ❖ Class wise list of students who are not attending classes is collected by class teachers. Help desk regularly contacted parents asking them to ensure attendance of their wards to online classes. ❖ Interacted with parents of those students who are not attending online Classes, discussed alternative solutions. ❖ Class teachers and subject teachers have been initiating measures to counseling for regular attendance in-spite of practical difficulties on the part of parents and students . Results are encouraging. ❖ Recording online classes and posting links in whatsapp groups.
SOP adopted in view of COVID-19 in school campus ➢ Thermal screening at security point ➢ Regular spray of sodium hypochlorite ➢ Provision of hand wash facility in all washrooms ➢ Managing Vidyalaya with very few essential staff members ➢ Ensuring use of face mask & face shield ➢ Restricting entry of visitors , clarifying doubts on admissions through helpline numbers
ONLINE DAILY REPORT OF TEACHERS • Each subject teacher is instructed to submit the report of online classes conducted every day. • Average attendance for each class is calculated from the data submitted by teachers through google sheet and the same is being reviewed by the principal during staff meetings and necessary suggestions are provided .
