Parents can provide emotional support to their child by keeping a few simple things in mind:  Be affectionate but don't make the child uncomfortable with over-attention. A hug in private just works fine.  Spend some light moments with your child. It could be sitting at the dinner table and sharing some jokes with the family.  Forget about an exam as soon as your child has appeared for it, ruminating over it is not going to help you or your child. Incul- cate the same in your child.  Do one thing that gives you joy or happiness every day. Encour- age the same in your child.  Do not set down rules for your child; let the child follow his or her routine while studying. Nevertheless, you can always assist your child in coming up with a routine.  Focus on the child's and your own nutrition.  Help your child with positive thoughts.  Keep the atmosphere at home stable and congenial.  Encourage discipline in your child. Guide him or her in main- taining a time table.  Remember to reinforce your child's confidence . One of the most important facts to reinforce your child is that the exam is not the end to everything. There are many things the child has to look forward to.

Year Of Tolerance THE GHAF TREE -AS A SYMBOL OF TOLERANCE Simple yet symbolically strong, the leaves of the evergreen Ghaf form the official logo for the UAE Year of Tolerance. The Ghaf is the UAE’s national tree, a true survivor in the face of fiery temperatures, searing winds and harsh desert conditions. Even during long, dry periods, the Ghaf spreads out its lush green canopy, gener- ously providing shelter and shade for all. For thousands of years, people have gathered un- der Ghaf branches to discuss their views and de- bate daily matters. The tree is a symbol of toler- ance and coexistence, long associated with the heritage and community approach of the country. 26/09/2019 Class photograph 24/09/2019—3A 25/09/19—3B & 3C
