Ritual for Glamour and self-love It's a common occurrence that love attracts love. When someone is in a relationship, the love they are surrounded with acts as an attractant for others. One way to accomplish this while not in a relationship is through invoking an aura of self-love. This ritual also is designed to create an aura of glamour around you, by subtly altering your own self-image to that of someone who is desirable. Just be warned, this ritual is powerful and be prepared to fend off people attracted to you but are the person you seek. For this ritual, you will need a few extra items for your altar. I'd suggest images of models who project the type of glamour and aura you with to project. Keep these images near so you can look upon them and imagine that you have the same type of aura of glamour. You could also tape one of these photos into a mirror frame and see yourself as that person each time you look into this mirror. Then, go do things to pamper yourself. Take a spa day. Indulge in long baths, surrounded by candles. Buy new clothing to change your outward appearance, which will be reflected inside you. (I use pennies) as you will charge these coins to act as talismans. One to carry with you to draw money to you, and four to bury at each corner of your abode. Ritual for Financial Stability Financial stability is far different from magick to just bring money. This is designed for long-term, so don't expect the Goddess to immediately bring you XYZ dollar per month. State your desire as steady growth of your income. For example, do not ask for $3,000 a month, but for steady growth to $3,000 and more. Aphrodite will bring to you opportunities, but it is up to you to take advantage of them. Do note: This is a lengthier ritual that the others. Best if performed on a Wednesday or Thursday evening, during the hour of Venus. (Consult a Planetary Hours Calculator to find the hour of Venus for your particular location and date) The color of candle that is needed is Gold or Silver. Make sure to have 5 candles handy. After the ritual, you will burn one additional candle PER DAY until all 5 candles have been used. Last Word I have had tremendous success when I work with the Goddess. I have found her energy to be soft, like a mother, with an overtone of sexiness. When I was researching this book, I found out many people use Aphrodite only for sex or love magick, and I knew there were untapped powers associated with this Goddess. Remember, when working with the Goddess, she works gently. She will ease you into a new lifestyle or she will gently guide you towards that new person. Try to listen to her guidance. Go into meditation to get your brain quiet so you can hear her speak to you. The words will be soft, subtle as they arrive. Do Not use her power for anything not based in Love. At most, she’ll refuse to grant the petition, at worst, she’ll likely cause some minor chaos in your life for even asking.
Lesser Banishing of the Pentagram (modified by the author) This is a mash-up of three different versions I’ve seen across the internet. It’s quite simple and easily memorized. This one uses the Tetragrammaton invocation at the end. Stand in the center of your room facing east. Relax. Stand with arms at your side. First thing to do is reconnect to the universe. Imagine growing larger and larger. Your point of view rises towards the ceiling in your space, and out above your house (unless you are outside) Now, imagine you are raising above your neighborhood. Keep growing larger and larger. You rise above the entire area, then keep growing and rise above the town. Then you are so high, you begin to see the entire earth. Keep rising up as you now speed past our Sun, and further out until all you see is the galaxy, its magnificent arms spreading out in every direction. Keep growing and rising until above you appears a huge funnel, with streamers of colorful light flowing all around. Soak in this energy, allow the energy to fill you. Breathing slowly, bring yourself back to your space. Close your eyes and raise your right hand above your head, pointing at the ceiling with a finger Say: “You are”
With your arm straight, swing your hand in front of you until you are pointing at the floor between your feet Say: “This Universe.” Still pointing at the floor, bend your elbow and bring your hand up until you are pointing at your right shoulder Say; “The Power” Move your hand across your chest and point at your left shoulder Say: “And The Glory” Bring both palms together to your chest (as if in prayer) Say: “Forever, so be it” Return your left hand to the side and point directly in front of you with your right hand (like pointing at the rising sun or moon) Make a small circle in front of you, clockwise and say: “Tetra” Now, move to face the south, and repeat the circle and say: “Gram” Again, move to face the west and make the small circle, saying; “Mut”
