Learning | Moody HS -Denis Wisner I recently had the privilege of observing a highly innovative teacher, Brigette Ramirez from Moody HS, implement blended learning in her classroom.

Ms. Ramirez implemented a playlist, a curated list of digital resources organized to support a specific learning objective, to deliver a dynamic and engaging lesson on US History. Students access the playlist through Canvas and work through interactive activities, videos, and quizzes at their own pace. Throughout the lesson, Ms. Ramirez monitors student progress and provides individualized support when needed. She also utilizes class time for group discussions and answering questions, promoting deeper understanding and engagement among students.

These two eager and passionate teachers did not hesitate to SHIFT their energy as an “architect of learning experiences” to provide real-time feedback and analyze data to shape individual learning paths. SHOUT OUT! Rebekah Espinoza, Kindergarten Teacher at Barnes ES, LEVELS UP her littles utilizing a class set of iPads as instructional tools. Students design presentations using Keynote app for creation. Students practiced technology skills including keyboarding, audio recording, and digital drawing while studying letter “M.” A digital Alpha Journal is being created. Students will share theirs with parents later in the school year. EXCITED FULLY ENGAGED

World Language Cohort 1 & 2 Levels Up with Technology Integration By Roxanna Guerrero LOTE teachers integrate technology for a Blended Learning approach leveraging management tools such as Lumio by SMART, and Nearpod. The Training began with a Reflection on several platforms with feedback on the use of the tool and its benefits. Through coaching, teachers create engaging, interactive lessons for student accountability. LOTE teachers are encouraged to network and share resources, as well as, present at Tech2Teach 2023. Way to go! #LevelUp

SHOUT OUT… to Grant MS Teachers Leveling Up with IPADs Grant MS teachers are learning how to best used their ipads for Academic Monitoring, Mobility in the classroom, using Apps and Websites, Accessibility Tools, and soon moving to screen mirroring with their SMART Panels.
