UNION 9o\"t*o\"r{ HIS BOOKLET is designed to portray the com- prehensive' services and agencies of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand Limited -a major Shipping Company founded and unique in being managed in New Zealand-which during a period of 75 years has operated passenger and cargo services to diverse ports in both hemispheres and has established a chain of Offices and Agents throughout New Zealand, Australia and Overseas. The fleet comprises six passenger vessels aggregating 34,753 gross tons and 4g cargo vessels aggregating 199,063 deadweight tons. In addi_ tion, there are on the stocks in various stages of com- pletion, one passenger vessel of 5,300 gross tons and seven cargo vessels aggregating 27,259 deadweight tons. Numerous complementary shipping, air line and road and rail agencies have been developed providing facilities for a complete world-wide travel service.
