Description: A whipped cream charger is a steel cartridge or cylinder filled with nitrous oxide
(N2O) gas that is used for making whipped cream and other food foams. It has a
tapered end that has a foil covering which is intentionally broken once it is inserted
into a whipped cream dispenser, thereby releasing the gas under pressure. Whipped
cream chargers are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and kitchens. Nitrous oxide
can be ingested or inhaled and can cause adverse effects if abused. It can even be
fatal if inhaled in large quantities.
