Background The J serves all residents of the community, regardless of ethnicity, age or ability. When the special needs population expressed a need for a year-round program for youth and adults, the J, committed to meeting those needs, developed Giborim U (Gib U), a program offering enrichment classes and social events to anyone in the community. Giborim U Mission Giborim U is a program for children, teens and adults with special needs and includes courses in fitness, the arts, sports, recreation, life skills and health and wellness. Participants will enrich their lives socially and behaviorally while gaining independence and communication skills, as they forge genuine connections to each other and the community.
