This was the bold initiative of the school management to involve its distinguished alumni to participate in the resurgence of the school and its continued growth. Fifty eight alumni, mostly belonging to the era of Sh. Mohan Lal Jain, Principal (Batches from 1950-1980) attended the inaugural function. The management committee Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Manager and Principal assisted by some teachers welcomed them. All attendees were requested to register themselves in the registration form to build an updated database of all the interested alumni. They exchange pleasantries amongst themselves reminiscing old memories over a cup of tea in the cozy dining hall adjacent to Oval Conference Room-II of IIC. Homage to Late Dr. Prem C Jain (1952 Batch) At 06:30 PM, all the attendees shifted to the Oval conference room for exposure to the journey of the school and its status today. The Chairman, Dr. Shugan C. Jain, welcomed them all and made a powerful presentation of the school's journey since its inception along with the recent investiture of Most Distinguished Alumni (Dr. Prem C. Jain 1952 batch) and eight other distinguished alumni. The members paid homage to Late Dr. Prem Jain for his tremendous professional achievements globally as well as continued contribution to school's development. Dr. Sulekh Jain, Dr. Anant Jain and Sh. Adhish Jain; all from USA and alumni of the school, sent their messages of support and gratitude which was greatly applauded by all. Participants at Conference-II at IIC The presentation was followed by election of Justice Vijender Jain as Chairman and Shri Swadesh Bhushan Jain as convener of the Alumni Forum. Both addressed the members present with their background and vision about the alumni forum, and its role to

support the resurgence and growth of the school. They invited each member to briey introduce themselves for the benet of all. One participant rendered a beautiful poem “O mere school, mujhe wapis bula le” composed by him for the occasion. It was indeed very inspiring and motivating to learn of the tremendous achievements by a large number of alumni. They all attributed their success to the school. All the members expressed their happiness to his initiative and offered their support in any capacity to the school.
