Ted Lovato began his career at Hillcrest as an art teacher, moved on to counseling, and then to administration. He became a vice principal in 1979 and principal in 1987. He has changed in looks about as often as he's changed jobs. Ted you' re not getting older, your getting better! DelMar F. Schick, the second of the only three principals at Hillcrest. One of the most loved and missed administrators to ever work here. He grew in size as well as stature during his 17 years as principal.
